The Takeover

The Attack

"Ok, so the plan is to send some of our troops in to the building to see if they can find anything else that could harm us", said the Sargent. As he hand picked all of the soldiers, we all stood in silence like we did when we sent the device in. No one knows what to expect when we send the troops in. They are also placing cameras on the soldiers so they can see what it happening. Most of the troops seemed scared. I don't blame them. They probably have never seen anything like what they might see in that building. They all remind me of my dad. I cannot stop thinking about my parents.

"Hey Justin, what happened to your dad"

"I don't want to talk about it", said Justin.

"Ok, i'm sorry". Justin's dad left about a year ago and Justin said he was going on a trip for work, but he never came back. I never asked because I did not want to be nosey. After about a month Justin started acting differently. 

"Let's move in", said the Sargent. Most of us watch the monitors to see what is inside but, some people just could not watch. The soldiers enter the building with no problem. There is nobody around but then we see a door. It is locked shut with many bolts and locks. The soldiers try to open the locks very quietly but, they end up making a whole lot of noise. They finally open the door and through the monitor we some sort of warehouse place. It looks like a factory. There are a bunch of machines around. In the corner, we see a bunch of human sized robots. They are armed with guns but, the guns look like some video game gun. They don't look like regular bullet shooting guns. All of  a sudden an alarm comes on. The robots turn on and start to shoot the soldiers. The ammo look like bullets but they are extremely small. The soldiers are retreating back to the camp but in the act, we lost 4 of our 20 soldiers. 

We were all in shock. It was absolutely quiet until the Sargent called for a meeting with the soldiers. After about 15 minutes they come back from their meeting. "We have decided to attempt to bomb the building. The air forces will be bombing the building in about an hour. Until then, we will do what we can to help figure out this crisis.", said the Sargent. It is 5:00 and everyone is extremely tired from all the events we have witnessed today. We all start to put up our tents to relax and wait until the air forces come. 

"I am sorry if i got you mad or annoyed earlier", I said to Justin

"It's fine. I'm gonna take a nap before the air forces arrive."

"Ok". Something bad must of happened. He usually  tells me everything.
