I awake with a pounding in my head. I look around to make sense of my surroundings. I am at the base of the steep cliff, laying on soft dirt. Surrounding the spot of dirt is a vast forest with coniferous trees, thick and dense. I look to see it the twins are alright. Surely I must've killed them, by freaking jumping off a cliff. But as I looked, I saw that they were in perfect condition. Maybe a few scratches here and there, but otherwise, they were good.
Determination filled me as I planted my two paws on the floor and brought myself off the dirt. I scanned myself to see what hurt so badly. My hind leg had a bloody bone poking out of the fur. Great. I limped unsteadily to the beginning of the forest to find help. Any help.
--------------
It must've been four hours, before I spotted a tiny stream. Savagely, I drank, my throat thanking me each time I gulped down the cold water. Exhaustion swept over me, my leg screamed with pain, my paws hurt, and my heart pounded like someone was playing a concert in there.
My tired sore body, completely gave out by the stream, and I lay there, curling up to protect the twins.
Hold on little guys. Hold on.
They whined, yawned, and fell gracefully asleep. Not long after, sleep settled in me, and dreams took the reign.

'No! Please!' My mother screamed at the foreign wolves to stop torturing my father, but they pretended like she didn't exist. Then it was her turn. They burned a hot metal into her neck, and the only thing filling the horrible night mare, was her screaming. Her pain flowing into me.

A loud noise crashed, and woke me up. My ears perked up, and I growled instinctively. What I saw, was the last thing I expected to see.
A man stood there. A handsome man around his twenties. He had golden honey colored hair, with dashing dark blues eyes. His smell gave him away as a werewolf, and I tensed.
'Who are you?' I question telepathically. He stared right back at me.
"Your leg..." he studied me like I was some specimen in a lab, making me feel even more uncomfortable.
'Yeah. What about it?' I snarled, and he raised his hands in defense.
"Can I... help?" he was so innocent and pleading, that I decided to just let him. I laid my head down and gave him permission.
He knelt down next to me and pulled out some medical items from his black fanny pack he was carrying. Once he doused my leg with alcohol, my teeth clenched. He kindly offered me some leather to bite down on, and I didn't object. He had surgical hands and carefully mended my wound. Tears of pain glistened their way down my nose and onto the floor. I tried to think of a subject I liked to do, or a book I liked to read, but the pain was too great, and made me wish he had knocked me unconscious.
I yelped loudly, waking up the twins, when he snapped my bone into place and finally the moment I'd been waiting for. I passed out from the pain.
_____

Sun shine down on my eyelids making me wake up. Someone was carrying me, so I shifted to see who it was. Almost instantly, a great dose of pain shot through my leg and I let out a sigh of defeat. Then the images of last night came pouring in my head. Golden Boy was carrying me, and the twins? Panic surged through my mind. Where were they? What happened? It didn't matter the pain it cost me, so I shifted in his arms and found out he was carrying the pups in the harness.
'Thanks.'
"No problem. Just so you know, my name's Mason. You can trust me. I promise. Now, I'm taking you to my village where you'll be safe and protected."
'Okay. My names Amir. I really hope I can trust you, Golden Boy.'
"Don't worry. You can,"he smiled down at me then looked ahead. After about fifteen minutes passed of complete silence and walking, we reached it. The village.
