Violets POV
Someone grabbed me and start to pull me away from the scene. I was about to scream but when I looked up I noticed it was my dad that was pulling me away from the chaos. "Dad you have to help Justin" I told him frantically. "Justin is a big boy he can take care of himself. Right now I need to make sure hat your safe okay?" he told me. "Okay" I said still worried about Justin. When we walked back into the house, he led me upstairs to a study room where Jessica and Claire was sitting.
"Oh sweetheart are you ok?" Jessica asked me. "Yeah I'm fine" I assured her. "Jessie I need you to keep an eye on her it's not safe out there" my dad said handing me over to Jessica. "Will do. How is it put there?" Claire asked cautiously. "It's chaotic out there so I have to get back to go help" he told them about to go out he door, but stopes as a huge brown wolf came bursting in. "Get back!!" my dad yelled before he shifted into a bigger black wolf and lunged at the wolf before it did first. I stood there amazed at the fight before me. "Quickly follow me" Claire said leading us away from the fight to a bookshelf in the corner.
She pulled a book and the self moved quietly, like a hidden passage in those spooky movies. When we walked through it we were lead outside in the backyard. We didn't make it far as a white wolf jumped in front growling at us. "Great they surrounded us. Jessica take her to the safe spot while I deal with this pup" Claire said shifting into a caramel wolf. She let out a bark as Jessica started to pull me into the forest. Claire bit the wolf on it's front legs as it tried to go after us. Me and jessica started to run in the forest until we came to a clearing where there was a house. "Okay listen to me I want to to go in there and lock the doors, okay?" she told me. "Where are you going?" I asked shaking from fear of being alone in that house. "I'm going back to help the others. Don't worry Josh is in there, he'll look out for you so you won't be alone" she told me giving me a kiss on the forehead. "Now hurry inside before they see you" she said shoving me to tue house.
I ran into the house and locked the door. I looked out the windows to see Jessica run back in the direction of the pack house. "Vi" someone said. I whipped around quickly to see Josh standing there. "Josh!!" I cried running over to him. "Shh, it's okay I'm here I won't let anyone get to you" she said as he wrapped his arms around me running his hands through my hair trying to quiet my crying. "Come on let's go upstairs. If we stay down here it'll be quicker for them to find us" he told me dragging me upstairs to a room. When we walked in he locked the door and sat on the bed pulling me down with him. I sat there on his lap shaking in fear of someone breaking in and finding us. "It's okay sweetie just think about something else" he told me while he started to rub soothing circles on my back. "Like what" I sniffed. "Like remember that comedian Brian and his joke Stupid In School?" he asked me which automatically made me laugh. "Hehe yeah" I said wiping my tears. "Remember when he said "I remember that one kid that spelled the word wrong so he wouldn't have to stand up there for three hours. First word 'cat' 'k-a-t I'm outta here' and he walks by you and you say 'I know there's two t's in there'"" he told me. I laughed at how stupid that was. "Yeah" I giggled.
As soon as it came our happiness was gone as we heard a loud bang coming from downstairs. We both stood up startled by the sound. "Stay here" he whispered. "No Josh don't leave me alone" I whispered back about to cry. "Fine but stay behind me do you hear" he told me. I nodded my head as we quietly opened the door and walked out. It was strangely very quiet when we reached downstairs. My grip tighten on the back of Josh's shirt as we were downstairs. We searched the kitchen first but it was clear. Then we went to the living room but it was clear also. We then walked to the front door to see it closed.
"I don't understand what was that noise then?" I asked as we walked back to the room. "I don't know?" Josh answered. When he opened the door he froze and let out a menacing growl. I trodden look around him but couldn't see over him. "Ah Josh my dear friend I haven't seen you in awhile. How are you?" the voice asked casually. I felt shivers of fear run through me and I knew who it was. Aiden. "Fuck off Aiden" Josh growled. "Now now is that the way you greet your old friend. Now that I think about it the whole gang is here. Isn't that right Violet?" he asked. "Shut up I never liked you in the first place. I only hanged out and talked to you because of Vi" Josh told him. "That's right. You were always a good little pup. Always following your master without being told second" Aiden said. "At least I'm not a crazy stalker like you" Josh bit out. "Stop provoking him" I whispered to Josh. "You better listen pup. Anyway I have better plans to deal with so give her to me or else" Aiden said. "Over my dead body" Josh said taking a fighting stance. "As you wish" Aiden said.
