"What, who do you think you are?"
"Emma, a girl who is about to kick your ass." I stand up and brace myself for a fist fight. Jack lunges at me and I twist his arm behind his back and smash his face into the floor. "If you know what's good for you, you won't cross onto my bad side."
Jeff is laughing hysterically on the other side of the room. I let Jack up off the ground and he charges Jeff. It is my turn to laugh as he gets punched in the gut. The look on Jeff's face is enough to keep me laughing for days.
Then a boy materializes into the air and shouts, "Enough!" I rub my eyes not believing that Ben Drowned is right in front of me. "Oh my God, Ben Drowned, I love your creepypasta." He looks at me like I'm crazy. "Okay, who is this girl?"
"Some pet that Jeff has taken in." Jack answered. "Well, okay then, well Slender man is not okay, he has finally turned evil, we need to have a meeting at the mansion. And Jeff, don't bring her unless you want her to be hurt." Ben said.
"She won't be hurt, but I am not leaving her here by herself, she is my responsibility at this moment. I am teaching her to hold her own against Slender man because for some reason he wants to kill her."
I have no idea what is going on so I just stand there and stay quiet. "He sent one of his demons in the form of her dead boyfriend to take her soul. Then when she killed the demon he tried his chances with her. Luckily she is a demon slayer." Everyone looked at me and shrugged.
"Hey! I may be scrawny but I can hold my own." I holler at them. They think that it is funny and laugh, well everyone except laughing Jack. I stomp my foot on the ground and charge them. Throwing them around the room like rag dolls. "Shut up!" I scream. They are lying on the ground groaning. I laugh, "Hah, shows you not to laugh at me."
Jeff laughs, he watched the whole spectacle untouched. He walks over to me and puts his hand on my shoulder, "Calm down Emma. You know you are cute when you get mad." Everyone looks at Jeff with a shocked look including me. "Okay, where is the mansion?" I ask. Jeff says, "Hold on, I'm going to run you again." I jump on his back and he takes off. We arrive at the mansion in 5 minutes, it must be extremely far in the forest, probably dead center, I mean this forest does stretch for miles.
He helps to get down gently. I go to walk and my legs fold underneath me, my legs are jelly. He wraps his arm around my waist and lets me lean against him as we walk inside. I see E.J. coming down the stairs as we walk in the door. He does a double take, "Who the hell is that?" He asks.
"I'm Emma," I answer as I use the wall to gain balance and take a few shaky steps by myself then walk over to the living room and sit down on a purple bean bag chair. Jeff looks at E.J. and shakes his head his eyes telling him don't ask, not right now.
I am told to go upstairs as they have the meeting. I slide down the wall, "They all seem so nice, and if slender man is after me I don't want them to get hurt, especially Jeff." I say to myself. Then I realize I like him, I climb out of the window and jump off the balcony. Taking off running through the forest. I don't want them to get hurt because of me.
I get caught by someone walking through the trees and that someone is ticci toby. "Where are you g-going?" He asks. 'Dammit, why did he have to follow me.' "Emma, running away won't solve anything, listen, I can tell that Jeff likes you. He hasn't laughed in 4 years, until you showed up. And you getting killed by slender man will just make him think that it was his fault. Come with me, let's go back to Jeff's house I will have smile dog run back and get Jeff." I nod and follow him. He lets me walk beside him and it takes 30 minutes because I am not being ran. But I feel more peaceful already. I can actually take in the beautiful scenery.
Jeff is already back now, and I am sitting on the couch. For some reason I feel like bawling my eyes out. And then I start sobbing. "Why are you crying." He asks me. I run to him and hug him. He is shocked then he hugs me back.
