"You can go in Liberty." Angie sits beside Alli, there's only 2 people allowed in the room at a time because its so small.
"Alli, you can go too." Brad walks in as I stand up, she nods her head and we both walk out.
"What room?" I ask,
"Uh.. This one." She points to a small sign next to room 218, it says Simpson Cody.
We walk in as Cody lays there with his eyes closed. An IV is in his right arm, he looks very pale and sick.
Alli walks beside him and touches his arm as he slowly opens his eyes.
"Hey bud..." She whispers. He shows a small smile and I walk over. He begins coughing,
"Do you want some water?" I ask,
"I can't have fluids, the IV is giving them to me and I have to pee every 3 minutes..." He sounds so weak, I feel like melting.
"So what's wrong?" Alli asks. I give her a stupid look and she shrugs.
"Dehydration. And it feels like crap." I answer, I've had it once and it isn't any fun.
The curtain opens up and the doctor walks in, Alli and I both take a seat beside Cody,
"Alright, we're going to try and feed you something, it should help you feel better immediately, it isn't so bad for you to stay over night so you should be free to leave in a few hours." He says.
"Okay. Thank you doctor." I look back at Cody.
"I'm gonna go hunny." I kiss him on the head and leave Alli with him, I see Kylie enter the waiting room with a get well soon balloon and basket of junk he doesn't need. I roll my eyes and huff before going in.
"Oh he's gonna love it Kylie!" Angie hugs her.
"Aw I hope, can I go see him?" She asks obviously not seeing me.
"Well I don't, oh liberty, yeah you can go back now Hun." Angie smiles noticing me.
"He's about to get fed and Alli wants to see him alone so it would be a better idea if you stay here." I slop down and cross my arms just as Alli enters.
"Looks like Alli's done." Kylie gives me a look.
"Kylie!!! I haven't seen you at all since Aussie!" Alli gives her a huge hug.
"I know we must catch up! I'm gonna go see Cody now!" Kylie gives me another quick look and leaves. I growl under my breath and Alli sits next to me.
"Don't worry Libby she's nothing to worry about." Alli reassures.
I roll my eyes with no comment.
A few hours later Cody and Kylie walk out laughing. He looks alot better!
I smile at him but he doesn't notice.
Everyone walks up and hugs him.
"He can go now, he says he's feeling alot better after he ate one of my cookies!" Kylie laughs.
"Oh, yeah I need that recipe!" He obviously really liked them, I roll my eyes again and decide to sugar coat it.
"I'm so happy you're better sweety!" I give him a hug and ignore Kylie who's obviously rolling her eyes.
"Alright so I'm starving. Kylie mind going to dinner with us?" Angie invites.
"Oh not at all!" She smiles, Cody looks at me with a 'I had no idea' expression. I give him a pitiful yet I don't blame you look back.
