After repeating the same process over and over her father finally took her home. She tried to get away once.....now the whole left side over her face is covered in a bruise. It still hurt. Her father had gotten someone to cover it up with make up so nobody on the plane could see.
Before boarding the plane her father leaned over and whispered "if you tell anybody about this you'll be hurting alot worse then you are now...do you understand?"
Taylor managed a small nod. She felt numb as she boarded the plane. She sat next to a man who looked like he was about 25. His son who was 7 sat on the other side of taylor. The boy had light brown hair, lighter than Taylor's whose hair was so brown it was almost black. He had hazel eyes and was wearing a shirt that had a T Rex eating chicken nuggets. The shirt said I like Dino nuggets better than you. Taylor and the boy talked about chicken nuggets for a few minutes before she finally asked what his name was.
"Tyler" he answered
"What's yours?" He questioned looking into her eyes
"Taylor" she said staring right back.
They drew pictured of dinosaurs and pretended to make them fight.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Tyler asked her.
"No. I'm only five...well I'll be six soon" she said.
"Oh. I don't have a boyfriend either"
"Well of course you dont. You are a boy"
"So. Boys can date boys"
With that the boys father turned to face his son a sternly said
"Tyler Allan Mason. It is completely unacceptable to date boys! I cannot believe you would even say such a thing. Boys that date other boys shouldn't be allowed to live. Let alone get married in some states. At the very least they should be arrested. If I ever hear you say anything like that ever again you will be in very big trouble young man"
"Sorry dad" Tyler said, clearly not meaning it."Taylor and tyler avoided the topic of dating for the rest of the ride. They exchanged home phone numbers and had their parents arrange for tyler to attend Taylor's birthday party. Although a complete jerk, Taylor's dad had to make some things seem a little normal.
