Chapter 3- The Police

When the police arrived at the door we quickly try to open before our mom could hold the door shut after all, we beat her to it and she started screaming ,"you can't do this it's my child let me go, leave me alone this isn't fair!!!" 
"Why does this matter to you mom, you don't care anyways and you never have so just leave and don't come back!!!" I yelled back with anger!
***SLAP***
She slaps me across the face right after I said that.
"Don't slap Laila like that she shouldn't be treated like your slave she is your child we are 16 not 2," Legend says with a strong anger in her tone.
***SLAP***
She then slaps Legend for taking her sisters side.
All of us started crying because we were scared for what was going to happen next. We were so terrified that one of the police had to calm us down and take us to the other side completely away from her while the other police officer escorted her out and the nurse was right over Legacy taking care of her making sure she's going to be okay. 
The officer then says,"everything will be okay, but ya'll will not be going home to your parents anytime soon."
This made us worry even more we started asking a whole bunch of questions such as, where are we going? Are they going to be okay? Are we going to be okay?
The police officer picked up his phone and started dialing a number, we asked what he was doing and he just said,"calm down take a breath i'll tell you when i get things figured out."
The only thing that was on our minds was we hope our sister survives and that everything's going to be okay.
The other officer walks in and says,"Girls were sorry but your mother wen't to jail."
Which of course makes us worry even more so we are having all this stress built up inside that will eventually cause something bad to happen. While the other officer is on the phone with a child protective services, (cps) worker. When he gets off the phone he tries to walk over to legacy and she starts to jump and freak out because she has no idea what's going on all she knows is there are a lot of people in her room.
We look up to see a cps lady walk in and start talking about foster homes and how their great. I didn't want Legacy to get into this conversation cause she's already frightened and in pain so I took it out side.
"This isn't a convo that we should speak about with her in the room." I say shutting the door.
"Why,"She asks," Why shouldn't she hear about this?"
"Because she's already worried,scared and stressed out and she doesn't say it but in her mind I know that she want's to stay with her dad."

well... the cps worker starts talking, we can let her stay with her dad and ya'll go somewhere else if that's what you wan't but we will have to talk to all of you separately and then one in a group but we'll talk to legacy first because she's in pain and doesn't know what's happening not only that she also want's to stay with her dad.
We then walk back in the room and she says for the girls to go in the hallway for a moment so she could speak with legacy.
We step in the hallway and start to whisper talk to one another about what's going to happen and what is legacy going to say, how is our dad going to react about this?
____A couple of hours later____
We were still in the room when someone knocked on the door. I walked over to open it and there stood James Watson. 
"And you need,"I say popping a hip.
"Well my dear I'm here to apologize for shooting your sister I didn't think it would end up like this but I guess it did," he said putting his head down. 
I wanted to say something back when Ash came up from behind him with Legacies coffee but I didn't.
"who's this," Ash said.
I smiled at James and looked at Ash and said, " this is the guy that shot Legacy."
"You better watch your back," Ash said in a terrifying tone that even made me shiver a little.
The nurse begins to say that Legacy gets to come home tonight. We were so happy but for some reason Legacy looked worried I knew why she was worried but the others didn't and i wasn't sure she was ready for me to tell them because she was the type that didn't like to express her feelings to everyone at once.
"I have made a decision about where I'm going to stay," she says with a smile.
"Where," I say.
"I have decided that going with ya'll would be safer for both of us so that is my choice," Legacy says with a smile on her face.
"That's great peaches," James says from the hallway.
"Why in the hell are you here?" She says in a very angry tone.
"I came to..."
"GET OUT!" She yells.
"Let me finish."
"Why should I?" Legacy said with a whimper in her voice.
"I didn't mean for this to happen my anger just got out of control," James said sadly.
"Okay finish I'm sorry I interrupted."
"I just did," He says with a smile.
"okay now get out," She says pointing to the door laughing.
"Fine I'll let you get some sleep be careful and take care."
"Bye bye."
James then left the room laughing.

Wow a lot of stuff happened in this chapter. How sweet that Legacy chose her sisters over her dad.
Whats going to happen to our dare devils? Where is their new home going to be at? Is there chemistry with Ash and Legacy and is James really sorry?
