Prologue-

CONGRATULATIONS,
Miss Samantha Green.

Your submission has been selected and you are invited to 'St. Jones Boy's school' to work under Mr. Joseph Heller

My heart exploded with joy as I read the words over and over again. I was given an opportunity to work under Joseph Heller. Joseph Heller, the Shakespeare of this age. I wouldn't trade this feeling for heaven, nothing had ever felt this great except for one thing, Shawn.

Nothing compared to him.

And now I was going to attend the same school as him for just a few months but it was better than anything. He could finally start falling in love with me as I had fallen for him. Truly, deeply and Madly.

Chapter 1 ~

My father was holding my luggage as I entered into the campus. All eyes were following me as I walked in. It was obvious for them to wonder, after all a sixteen year old girl had stepped in an all boy's school so, no one could blame them for the intrigued looks.

"Hey, are you Samantha?" A boy asked. His blonde hair was falling messily over his blue eyes and his hands were digging deep into the pockets of his navy blue low waist pants which were probably a part of his uniform. My gaze lingered on his upper body. His white shirt and the blue tie failed to obscure how well sculpted he was.

"Yes, I am Samantha." I replied. His lips turned into a smile to show a set of brilliant white, immaculate set of teeth.

"Great, I'll show you your room." He greeted my father and took my luggage from him. My father shook his head and declined his offer but he smiled and took the bags from him.

Once, I was settled in the room my father left the campus to board his flight. With a few words of goodbye and tears from eyes, he left.

I was alone in the room with blonde boy, Cody.

Boy was he hot!

"So, I hear you are here to work under Mr. Heller?"

"Yeah, I pretty anxious about it." Mr. Heller was the Principal of St. Jones. He had written many best sellers which were widely appreciated all over the world. His works had left the critics scrambled on the edge of their seats. Working with him would give me a chance to learn, to discover myself. Plus it would rock my résumé.

"Hey, Cody! Where the hell have you been?" A voice resonated in the room.

Cody turned towards him.

"Samantha!" Shawn said.

His voice brought me up on my toes. A smile crossed over my face as his face lit up. He was happy, happy to see me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

Cody turned to Shawn. "You know her?" He asked.

"Yeah, we are from the same city." Cody turned towards me waiting for my approval. I flashed him a bright smile and nodded.

"He went to the same school as my cousin," I said. Cody nodded and propped on my bed. Shawn walked towards me, he still looked confused, at a loss of words.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" He asked.

"Because I wanted to surprise you." This look on his face, of surprise and shock but above all the happiness and knowing that I had caused this emotion, he'd never know what it meant to me.

"Did you see Rachel?" His voice trembled as his lower lip quivered. I softly shook my head. Rachel, always Rachel.

"I barely know her, Shawn." A smile came over his face at her name.

"Hmm. I miss her you know?" He said.

Oh trust me, I know.

"I do. Shawn, I'll see you later, I have to unpack."

Shawn smiled one last time as he left along with Cody, leaving me in silence and pain.

flashback-----

I was holding a plate of cookies in my hand, I know Henry will try to take them for me but this time I won't even let him have a piece. The door bell rang, it must be Henry.

I rushed to the door and opened it hurriedly.

"Finally, you came." I said and he smacked my head. Ouch!

Henry moved to the side and entered the house, behind him another boy entered.

"Hey, I am sorry to disturb but your brother forgot that he had plans with me today and I didn't have a key to my house so, I tagged along. I hope you don't mind. By the way I am Shawn." He stretched out his hand at me. I kept starring at his hand unable to move. He looked at me awkwardly waiting for me to shake hands with him. Henry chuckled pulling me out of the trance. I nervously shook his hands while he laughed.

I looked into his green eyes and smiled.

Days passed but our conversations never ended and soon I had fallen for him, hard

I angrily pulled out the clothes as Rachel's face invaded my thoughts. The way she hurt Shawn, the way she played with his feelings and the way he still, loved her all of it made me ache.
