"May I come in?" A deep voice said.

Mr. Joseph Heller was standing at the door with a small smile. I stood up with my back straight gazing at him wordlessly.

He took that as an invitation and walked in. He looked around for a moment inspecting the room. He was a man in his thirties. His face was breeding abrasive and unruly beard, he stood tall with his back straight and chin up. His black hair was neatly combed back and tucked behind his ears. He had a certain intimidating aura that accompanied him.

The personality he had was one which a man could witness only a few times in life.

"Are you settled in?" He said. His voice conflicting his figure was warm and welcoming.

"Yes, almost." I replied meekly. "I just want to say its such an honor to meet you, I have been following your work since forever and getting this opportunity means a lot."

He nodded at me with an insinuation of a smile as if a secret joke played around his head.

"You have very brazen and violent views for a sixteen year old." His dark eyes were fixed on my face, as though his pupils were interpreting my expressions.

"I believe what I believe in, sir." I replied to him with the utmost modesty. His hands traced the shelves, his eyes lingering on the collection of my books.

"I was very impressed with your work." Happiness stirred inside me.

"I am working on a new book." He said to me. He walked to a chair, sitting on it while gesturing me to do the same.

"I know its called, 'Desire is the worst enemy'." He nodded at me with that secretive smile on his face as if my words had just humoured him.

"You remind me of someone." With those words he stared into infinity loosing himself in a transient dream. Not wanting to seem presumptuous I refrained from asking whom I reminded him of.

I cleared my throat to grab his attention. The dream seemed to have shattered as a sad look came across his face. He stood tall on his feet and said,"would you help me write and edit the book?"

I tried to speak but it seemed that I had choked down all the words all came out was immense coughing. He quirked a brow at me as he waited for an answer.

"I would love to!" I squeaked.

As my words fell upon his ears he walked out of the door with a small nod.

This is the best day of my life.

Cody entered the room with a big grin. My eyes followed him till he stood in front of me wrodlessly. I folded my legs on the bed as he plopped himself on the bed and laid there motionless.

I lightly poked him. "Cody!" I whispered.

"Cody!" This time I shook him but he kelt his eyes tightly closed refusing to budge. His face was buried in my pillows and his legs were spread out on my mattress.

What is he doing?

"CODY!" I screamed at the top of my voice.

"Ouch, woman. You'll make me deaf." He was now sitting straight up on my bed. He frowned at me and leaned in to gaze in my eyes.

"Why won't you let me sleep?" He asked refusing to remove his blue eyes from my black ones.

"Because this is my bed." I said leaning away.

"Ugh......woman are so selfish." He stood up from the bed while I smacked my forehead with my hand.

"Why would you do that, you're only hurting yourself, you're so stupid." He said and stretched his limbs. I looked at him and then smacked his head with my bare hand.
