chapter 10

Austin and I walked back to the garage.He asked me basic stuff like my name ,age and stuff.

I told uncle Ben that Austins car had broken down.While he went to fix Austins car we stood there awkwardly.

Thank God Suzie came out of the house .She looked at me."Well who do we have here"she winked at me.I looked at the ground.

Austin smiled warmly at her and stuck out his hand"Im Austin Carlile".

"Hannah dear,isnt he one of the guys off your CDs in you're room?".

Oh my god .She did not just say that.I could feel my face growing red.Austin laughed.This could not be happening.

" Well "I said turning to face Austin"It was nice meeting you.I've got a ton of stuff to do and....."

"Hannah don't be so rude"Suzie said interrupting me"You can't expect Austin to stand out here alone".She turned to Austin"Would you like to come inside and sit down".I prayed he'd say no.

"I'd love to" he replied.Austin went and sat at the dining table.I pulled Suzie aside and begged her not to say any other embarrassing things.

I sat across from Austin.Suzie was making some tea.

"So you live here with your aunt and uncle?"he asked me.

"No I'm from Ireland but I'm spending the summer here".

Half an hour later Ben came back.I was disappointed .Austin and I were having a great conversation.

I walked with Austin to his car."It was nice meeting you" I said sticking out my hand for him to shake.

"I think we can do better than that"he said pulling me into a hug.He smelt great.

"What the fuck are you doing?"We both turned around to see Jamie standing there.

His fists were clenched by his side.

"Jamie go home"I told him.

"Make me"

"Don't talk to Hannah like that"Austin said.

"Who the fuck are you?"

"I'm Austin"he replied"Hannah's boyfriend".
