Chapter 1

~ Heaven's POV ~              I was with my best friend Joy, in the auditorium of Ever After High, practicing our...reenactment of our parents' friendship. You see, I'm the Wicked Witch of the West or Elphaba's daughter. Joy, Galinda's daughter, became my best friend right after we met. Weird thing is, neither if us have our parents' looks. I'm not green or dark haired, and Joy isn't blonde or pale skinned. I was reciting my lines, when all of a sudden, the entrance doors burst open. "I WOULD LIKE YOU ALL TO SAY HELLO TO THE TRANSFER STUDENTS OF AURADON PREP." Said Headmaster Grimm. The newbies stood in a line, and started to introduce themselves. "Hi, I'm Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen. It's nice to meet you!" Said a quite pretty girl with blue highlights. Wait a minute.....isn't Raven the Evil Queen's daughter? That's kinda fishy if you ask me... Next to introduce themselves was a cute guy with white and black hair. "Hey I'm Carlos de Ville, son of Cruella de Ville. It's cool to be here." The girl next to him nudged him in the side, and he blushed. I dunno why though.... Next up was the girl that nudged Cute Dude. "Hello, I'm Mal! I'm the daughter of Maleficent. It's an honor to be here." "Too formal!!" Hissed Evie. Mal glared at her. Next up was a dude with long dark hair. "Sup I'm Jay, son of Jafar. You can call me Jayjay, or anytime~~" Ew, terrible pick up line... He winked at the girls, making most of them either faint, blush, or roll their eyes. "Well those weren't the reactions I expected..." He muttered. Joy giggled, and so did Ella. "Well, now that there are new students and they all know each other, they shall be roommates." Declared the Headmaster. There was a chorus of 'aww's, mainly from the girls. "Well since you all are new here, I'll get some students here to show you all around." Said Headmaster Grimm. Almost everyone yelled at him to pick them, or waved both of their hands, except for Joy and I. "Ugh, I don't wanna show the newbies around!!" I said. "Well then you can show them around, along with Miss Goodie." Said the headmaster. (A/N Heaven's last name is West, and Joy's is Goodie. Also you'll come in the story soon enough, so hang in there!! ;) ) Joy and I groaned in unison. "Can we at least finish practicing?" Questioned Joy. ".....alright.....but since you two are showing them around, they are going to watch you!" My jaw dropped, whilst Joy nearly fainted. "Are they okay?" Asked Mal. "Oh they're fine, don't worry!!" Exclaimed Maddy. "Anyways, hi I'm Maddy, daughter of the Mad Hatter!!! It's simply wonderful to meet ya!!!" She happily said. The newbies each said hi to her, then took a seat. Joy sighed. "I guess we should start from the top..." "Yeah.." We both sighed in unison while sulking. "Five, six, seven, eight!!" Said Melody Piper. Soon, the music started playing, and Joy and I turned on our microphones on. I sat on the bed. Joy started singing. "Whenever I see someone less fortunate than I~ And let's face it. Who is it? Less fortunate than I~ My tender heart tends to start to bleed. And when someone needs a makeover I simply have to take over, I know. I know! Exactly what they need~~ And even in your case! Though it's the toughest case I've yet to face~! Don't worry, I'm determined to succeed! Follow my lead~ And yes indeed. You. Will. Be. Popular~ You're gonna be popular~ I'll teach you the proper poise when you talk to boys, little ways to flirt and flounce! Ooh!!! I'll show ya what shoes to wear, how to fix that hair," Joy ran her fingers through my slightly tangled hair while the newbies where trying not to burst out laughing. "Everything that really counts to be popular!!" Joy stated to dance as I watched her. "I'll help you be popular~!! You'll hang with the right cohorts, you'll be good at sports! Know the slang you've got to know~! So let's start!!" Joy sat down beside me. "'Cause you've got an awfully long way to go~~~!" I sulked comically. Joy got up and went behind me, putting her hands on my shoulders. "Don't be offended by my frank analysis, think of it as personality dialysis! Now that I've chosen to be a sister and adviser, there's nobody wiser , not when it comes to popular!" She started dancing again. "I know about popular!!! And with an assist from me to be who you'll be~ Instead of dreary who you were - well, are.." Joy shrugged as I comically sulked again. The newbies were chuckling. "There's nothing that could stop you from being populer!!! -Lar!!!" Everyone at that point chuckled, including me. "La~~ La~ La la~~" She started singing and dancing around the stage, doing small twirls and jumps. "We're gonna make you popular!!" I had a small smile make it's way up to my face. "When I see depressing creatures with unprepossessing features, I remind them on their own behalf we have to think of celebrated heads of state or specially great communicators!!! Did they have brains or knowledge? Don't make me laugh!!! They were popular!!! Please. It's all about popular~~ It's not about aptitude" She pointed to her head. "It's the way you're viewed!! So it's very shrewd to be~" She paused. "Very very popular, like me!!!!" I sighed. "Galinda, this is never gonna work!!" Joy stood next to me. "Elfie, your whole is going to change because of me. Kay, now lemme teach you how to flip your hair. Ya just flip it!! Or you could flip it with your hand-" She flipped her hair dramatically with her hand, then looked at me, expecting me to copy her. I tried, but instantly failed. I heard the newbies silently laugh again. "-or even use your whole body!!" She tried to flip her hair with her body, but ended up falling. She clumsily got back up. "Okay, don't do that one." I laughed. Joy took a deep breath in. "I will now change your simple frock into a ballgown." She waved her wand, then pointed it at me. "Ballgown." Nothing happened. She tried again, waving her wand then pointing it at me. "Ballgown!!" Nothing again. "This thing on?" She hit it repeatedly on one of my pillows. She threw the wand in a random direction. "Ah, just wear the frock, it looks pretty!!" That got everyone to laugh. "Now for the finishing touch!!" She put her (coughdisgustingcough) pink flower hair clip in my hair. "...pink goes good with green!!" She exclaimed. There were a few chuckles again. "Why Miss Elphaba.....you look beautiful." She said with sparkles in her eyes as she gave me a mirror. i looked in the mirror, seeing a person....that looked much prettier than I could ever look. I looked down. "I......I have to go." I ran off in a random direction of the stage, leaving the mirror on the bed. "...you're welcome!!!" Joy called out. She picked up the mirror and looked at herself and sighed in vein. People were giggling again. "Although you protest your disinterest~ I know clandestinely~ You're gonna grin and bear it!! Your newfound popularity~! Laaa la~ Laaa la~ You'll be popular!! Just not quote as popular~~ As~~ Meeee~~~~!!!" Joy faced up with her arms stretched out dramatically while singing until the music ended and the lights went out. I came out from backstage and stood next to Joy. The newbies applauded. I looked over at Joy, and saw she was staring at that Jay dude. I saw the girl -Evie- nudge him. He looked up at Joy and stared at her for a while. I decided it would be awkward if I just continued to watch them, so I looked at the other people in the crowd. My eyes landed on Cute Dude, who just so happened to be looking at me. I blushed hardly. I slowly smiled and waved at him. He looked surprised and waved back slowly while blushing. "Love birds~~~" Joy sang annoyingly. "Shut up, the microphones are on!!!" I said to her, annoyed. "Heaven and Carlos sitting in a tree~ K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!" She sang. I hit her in the head. "Shush!!" I said. "The microphones are still on, ya know~~~" Joy and Kitty Cheshire grinned while I did a double-take and screamed, "WHY ARE THEY STILL ON?!?!". Joy fist bumped Raven, who walked up next to her while smirking. Ugh, of course they would do that......"Bravo!!! Bravo!!!! Magnificent performance, girls!!!" There was some applause with a slightly familiar sounding voice...it was...... (A/N CLIFFHANGER!! I know, I'm evil~ >:') Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this story!!! Btw for those of you who didn't know, the song Joy sang was Popular from the musical, Wicked. Anyways, I do not own you, EAH, Wicked, or Descendants, I merely own Joy and Heaven!!
