I have no idea who my parents are or were, because I was found on the door steps of an orphanage education institute. And that's all I've known, the only thing they can tell me is that they think one of my parents was an artist or had a love for art cause of a sketch book that was left with me and had a name,my name engraved onto the front. It took a while to translate it cause for some reason it was written in greek, káno, which meant 'make'. Today was my 16th birthday, and so they told me all they knew as well as gave me the sketchbook. That night I stared out the window and wondered who my parents were before laying in bed with a sigh at the mystery.

********** 2years later

"Káno awaken... You have a perilous destiny that awaits you. a guide to a camp where you can train to prepare for it will find you. that is all I can say, good luck my son." an ancient and powerful voice spoke in my dream while darkness swirled around my consciousness. As the voice's presence faded, I awoke to sunlight streaming into my eyes. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes already forgetting the dream again since my 16th birthday. "Fuck...it's to early to be getting up." I say that but I know already that I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. so I quietly made my way to the the door, with my sketch book and pencil in hand, I tip-toe so as not to wake up my roommates and snuck outside the room, down the hallway and stairs, and out the front door to my favorite place at the orphanage. The giant oak that stood tall and proud along the side of the old building, as well as one of the most frequented places I visit to draw which I'd done none stop since getting my sketch book. Strangely though no matter how much paper I use it never runs out, and sometimes my drawings seem to come alive. Any way, atop the high branches of the tree I finish up my latest project. An elegant phoenix, clothed in dancing flames of all colors, intelligent and piercing violet eyes, a noble yet regal poise, and breathtaking feathers of silver gold ruby and sapphire. When i was finally satisfied with my work I could here the commotion of everyone waking up. sighing I give my drawing one last glance and I could of sworn I saw the wings move right before I shut the book. But I dismissed it with a shake of my head and scrambled down the tree and back into the orphanage.
