Kayla

Waking up to the sound of yelling wasn't really nice for me. I mean waking up to some food, yeah. I'd be in those chairs real fast. But to little kids screaming and yelling isn't my thang. So when I got out of bed, I washed up first. I mean its not my house, so I can't just walk in my pj's everywhere. So I went to the bathroom and washed myself. I sung a little because when my mommy was alive, that's what she would do. I got out and put on a regular T-shirt and jeans and slid on my baby-doll shoes. When I got downstairs, I headed to the kitchen first.

"Um, 'cuse me, but what do you have to eat?" I asked the lady who was putting food on the trays.

"We eat in a few minutes. You can stay and watch if you want. Kids do it all the time. I don't mind." The lady said putting the bacon in the oven.

"Okay. You know, if you fried the bacon, it will taste better." I said breaking a piece of bacon. I ate it. The lady laughed.

"What's your name cutie?"

"Kayla. And you?" I said making my cute dimples show. I love those.

"Everyone here calls me Ms. Patty. But my name is Precious." Patty? Where they get that from?

"Um, why do they call you Ms. Patty?" She sat down. She mentioned me to sit on her lap. I ran and sat down. It was the first time I did that since my mommy died. She started to tell me the whole story.

After breakfast, Precious took me to the mall since I wanted to get outta there. That place is like hell. Hell is in the bible and that's the one I'm talking about. So don't start. Anyways, she took me to Kid's Footlocker, Bath and Body Works, Rainbow, and she went to get her hair done. I watched her. It was pressed and curled.
