Chapter 20- Make-up and secrets

Chapter 20-Make-up and secrets

We pulled up the car on our steep driveway. I was so excited but beginning too get nervous. I turned too Beth.

"Oh my god, Beth I'm getting so nervous!" I squealed.

"I know right I'm actually kind of nervous, just in case anything goes wrong! I know how much effort you have put into this!" She agreed.

We grabbed our bags and got out the car and into the house.

I dropped my bag in the middle of the door and hopped over too the kitchen on my crutches. I put my overnight bag in the kitchen and went up too my room with Beth and Julian. My mum could bring my bag up later!

"Wow ok so now I need my make-up doing!" I shouted.

"Yea when is the make-up artist coming?" Beth asked.

"Soon, so lets just get our outfits out ready and lay them out, and Julian..do not touch our outfits!" I ordered.

I brought out my big, pink, gorgeous dress. The sparkles were shining like an icicle in a cold cave gleaming in the sunlight. I loved it.

"Wow Becca, you will look fit in that!" Julian said excitedly!

"Oh Julian stop!" I said.

Beth had a strange look on her face. She looked sad and jealous. I ignored it.

"Well now all we have too do is wait for the make-up artist too arrive." I said.

Mum came upstairs with some coke and i poured some out for everyone. We all took a sip and then heard a knock at the door.

"Oh my gosh, hi, your early!" I said too my make- up artist.

I saw Beth grab Julian's hand and go upstairs. I excused myself and chased them up. I creeped just outside my door and heard then talking softly.

"Julian I need too tell you something" Beth said.

"Yea.." Julian said confused.

"Um...I think I fancy you?!" Beth stuttered.

"What..?" Julian breathed.

"Yea, but don't tell Becca!" Beth whispered.

"Um... Ok." Julian said awkwardly.

I heard shuffling and dashed down the stairs. They closely followed but gladly they didn't notice me. I can't believe what I just heard. I sat down and was mind blown. I didn't know what too say until my make up artist approached me.

"Right darling shall we get going?" She said.

"Yes, and lets be quick so I have chance too get changed." I insisted.

She squeezed out the foundation and got some on the brush, next she did smokey, dramatic eyes and used liquid eyeliner too outline my eyes. Next she did my blush and bronzer, then coloured in my eyebrows, then lastly after lots of mascara and contouring, she put on bright red lipstick. I pouted in the mirror and thought.. wow this is really happening!!

Only a few hours too go, but all I could think of was Julian and Beth!
