We were all having fun, dancing around with our friends when I suddenly saw the lights turning down and

everyone turning their heads too the stage in the centre of the room. I realised what was happening.

"Ok everyone, we need too be quiet for the birthday girl and bring her forward." My dad said into the microphone on the stage.

I walked forward and looked up at the big stage.

"Becca, are you ready, its present time!" My mum shouted into the microphone.

Smoke filled the room and suddenly bright lights flashed, followed by a horn. I squinted as I could barley see from the light but then I saw what it was.

"Happy birthday darling it your own BMW!" My mum and dad shouted through the pink and sparkly microphone.

Me and my friends screamed as I was pushed on to the stage too go see my new car. It was pink and had the number plate 'FABULOUS' just like sharpay from high school musical. I hated high school musical, but I could relate too sharpay a lot. I smiled and ran over too my parents and squeezed them tight. I whispered into there ears and thanked them for the best gift in the world.

"Crown surf, crowd surf!" Everyone began too shout as I was interrupted.

"No I cant!" I shouted back.

They protested as they chanted "do it, do it." I had a surge of energy as I thought YOLO! I jumped across the room, over all my friends and landed in Julian's arms. Well I wish I did. I forgot all about my leg and fell right on it. I let out a cry.

"Becca are you ok?" I heard as bodies gathered around me.

I slowly got the courage too pick up my body and check if my leg was hurt... Again! Luckily I was fine and I felt a hand grab mine and pull me up. It was Julian.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Yea im ok, that hurt though, I completely forgot about my leg with all the excitement!" I explained.

"Well what did I promise?" Julian asked as he took me too the centre of the dance floor.

The lights came down and he took my hand. One of my favourite songs chasing cars came on and people gathered round us.

"You promised you would help me too dance." I said softly.

And that was exactly what he did. We moved from side too side as he guided me. I felt like we were the only two people in the room. Well until we turned around and the room was empty. Everyone had filed out into the bar room to get drinks, we were the only two in the room.

"I love you so much." Julian whispered into my ear.

"I love you too." I whispered into his ear back.

I grabbed his neck and pulled him into a passionate kiss, it seemed like it lasted forever. I heard no music and sensed nothing around me like my balloons and disco lights, just bliss.

"You changed." I said softly.

"What do you mean?" Julian asked confused.

"Well a while back when you started remember what I said I would do if you let us change you?"

"No?" He said still confused.

I started into his eyes and waited for him to remember. His expression changed showing me he hasn't forgotten.

I pulled him back into a loving kiss and we all lived happily ever after....well not quite yet!
