"Mr. President, with millions dead, how will you fix this situation?" A reporter asked.

"I assure you, the director of the CDC and I are coordinating  a massive relief operation to New York," Hershel replied.

"Is the government doing anything to stop the spread of HVZ?" A female reporter asked.

"Like I said, the CDC will be coordinating a massive operation to stop the spread of this contagion." President Hershel replied.

A few more questions were asked, some were answered, some were not. But, it was for certain. This was big, and this was dangerous.

Dozens of reporters got up, flashes of light from cameras temporarily blinded the president.

All shouting "Mr. President! Mr. President!".

Secret Service agents have told the President to report to the situation room quickly. Hershel had agreed and had gotten up from the Q&A. Half of the states have called a State of Emergency. A virus called HVZ, or Human Viral Zombification, had ravaged through the world, claiming millions of lives.

As the President entered the situation room, high-ranking members of the government were all talking around the meeting table, with the TV blaring reports of more states going into A State of Emergency. The cabinet saluted and sat in their respected seats.

"Hello, gentlemen, and gentlewomen, today is a day that the American people will remember for generations. We will make a decision that will influence the future of the United States and its peoples." The president said.

The rest of the cabinet nodded and continued looking over the two plans that they were going to decide over. The President had knew the plans, but were conflicted over which one to chose. Both had their benefits.. and consequences. After 20 minutes of arguing and agreement, the cabinet had made their choice. It will now begin.

"Alright folks, quiet down." Hershel boomed.

The cabinet staff sat down in their respected chairs, they were all holding files. All had sweat on their faces.

"Now, have we made the decision?" Hershel asked.

"Yes sir." The Secretary of State replied.

"What is it?"

"Sir, we're going to go through with Operation Nuisance."

Operations Nuisance was a top secret operation. This was one of the government's last remaining options in a crisis like this. The operation stated the state or area with the most infected was to be carpet-bombed and nuked. This would kill a lot of zombies, but kill a lot of humans too. It was risky, but may do the trick.

The President sat down, distraught on what to pick. He knew Plan B was going to kill thousands. He knew that it will only soften the blow of what will be the U.S's decapitation. He had to choose.

"Mr. President, the final decision is yours."

The President sat down on his chair and looked around. His staff were eagerly looking in his direction, waiting for an answer. The President thought back to a few weeks before.

"Mr. President, Gallant did it. He released the virus," The Secretary of State said nervously.

"WHAT? WHY? ARGH!" The President shouted.

"Get out, just get out." The President continued.

The Secretary quickly exited the room and the President stared into an imaginary abyss. He thought of the lives that will be lost. All the pain and suffering America will endure. His presidential legacy was in jeopardy.

The President got up, and threw all of his papers off the desk. In a fit of rage he threw his chair at the wall adjacent to him.

"WHY GALLANT?" The President shouted. "WHY?" The President's voice thundered through the White House, alerting Secret Service and staff members.

The final choice, was always the hardest. The President had looked at the paperwork that was needed. He had tried to make up his mind, but had failed. His cabinet still looked at him, with eagerness and contempt. It had been 6 seconds when he had asked the question. Finally, he had made up his mind.

"Mr. President, choose now or we die later." A General said.

"Deploy Plan A." The President answered.

The cabinet nodded and the future has been set.

"God knows what's next." The President mumbled.
