3rd person pov

It was now Monday morning, and Niall woke up with a mission. A mission to figure out if any of his best friends were dating each other. He just had to know, it was eating away at him.

Niall threw on some high waisted shorts, a comfy sweater and converse, before grabbing his pastel purple backpack and heading out on his mission.

When Niall got to school, he decided to do a bit of spying which mostly consisted of looking at his friends from behind walls or in a bathroom stall, as they pretended not to see him to go along with his cute little game.

Niall was in the library behind a stack of books, looking at an "unknowing" Liam and Zayn.

"I haven't seen him all day Z, I hope he's okay." Liam dramatically confided in Zayn, and this got Niall's attention.

"Are they talking about me?" Niall frowned to himself.

"I know li, me too. But I'm sure he's fine, I mean if not were gonna have to replace him." Zayn said with a far away look on his face.

Niall gasped a little, and quickly put his hand over his mouth. Replace me? They wouldn't do that...right?

"I suppose we could try and befriend that cute little twink, what was his name again? Oh yeah...Justin?" Liam tried to hide his smirk.

At this point Niall was on the verge of tears, they would just up and abandon him? How could they do that?

Now Niall was mad.

"I'm not going anywhere! I am right here! You can't just replace me! I've...I've been here since the beginning and and.." Niall was now sobbing, as he walked out from behind his stack of books and confronted Liam and Zayn.

"Niall! You're here." Liam fake gasped.

"Yeah I'm here! You didn't see me for one day, and you were gonna replace me?" At this point Niall just looked like a kicked puppy, and both boys decided it was time to give up their act.

"Of course not Niall, we were just teasing you. I'm so sorry princess, of course we would never replace you." Zayn was now resting his hand on Niall's cheek, resisting the urge to just swoop in and kiss the little lad.

"Promise?" Niall sniffled out.

"We promise baby." Liam spoke now.

"Now what were you doing spying on us all day? And don't you dare lie to us." Liam said in a stern voice.

"Um.."
