the cold wind blows throughout new york city. pile of snows everywhere and lots of people were crowding the streets.
some of them are busy with works, some went on a hangout with their family and some people, tend to be alone.
hyojin did adapt herself in new york and now she was just like a normal citizen there instead of visitor. jongin and her stayed at their parents house but not for long. hyojin has her own house at america. eventhough they live separately, she will found time to meet her parents.
hyojin was in her room, dressing up as she wants to go out. she puts light make-up and some mist on her. then she wore long sleeved shirt paired with a brown long jacket and jean. she wrapped a pink scarf around her neck and put on a beanie.
it's a typical thing to do when the weather is too cold. she left the house by 8.30 am and she drove her car to downtown.
she stopped at her favourite cafe which is culture espresso and the cafe is really famous in new york.
the snack and pastries they served really satisfied everyone's hunger.
she ordered the same thing for breakfast which is sweet waffle and cappuccino. sometimes she bought bagels and take it home for their extra meal.
she sat at her favourite spot too, near the cafe window display where she can see things that happen outside.
she sat straight while staring at her cappuccino drink on the table. brown colour. it reminds her the colour of his eyes.
she put a bite of the warm sweet waffle into her mouth and ate them slowly. warm foods are important during cold season.
she didn't celebrate christmas but she only wish them since her parents are having business trip and jongin went to france for work. he was been upgraded but sad thing, he is still single.
he doesn't have any plan of looking for a girl but hyojin always trust him that he will find one so he could build a family.
hyojin kept sipping her coffee until a music was been heard. the cafe always played ballad songs that suits the season.
currently, they are playing snsd's song. time machine.
a sad song. but hyojin really amazed by their voice and the melody was soothing. even they are in america, they also played international songs and it's fine to the customers.
she took out her phone to check some messages. she scrolled and scrolled that she didn't realized a guy was sitting accross her.
"kim hyojin.." he said.
she stopped scrolling and lifted her head. her mouth almost hanged down and she stared at him for a long time.
"se-sehun.." she finally mutters.
"h-how did you? why?" she paused and cleared her throat. she was nervous because she finally met him after 5 years.
no calls, no messages and no news at all. and know, he appeared infront of her.
she was scared like she was staring at a ghost. sehun really look different. really different.
his hairstyle changed, his skin is a bit pale. in her opinion, sehun does become more handsome.
but what's big was, his expression. the way he looked at hyojin. it was so different.
