"Hey sexy lady, how bout I buy you a drink."
That's the worst thing about this job, putting up with asshats like this, who think they can get up the skirt of every female they want.
"No thanks, I prefer my drinks not laced with date rape drugs or what ever that is coming out of your mouth."
The man wipes the drool from his mouth, "Why would you say that you don't even know me"
"No, but I know pigs like you, so please leave," I pull out the blade from my bra, "before I decide to test out my knife throwing skills."
With that he walked away quickly with out another word. My ways may be ruthless but they work.
Edward better be glad I have more tolerance to this bullshit bar and the people in it (who are mostly supernatural.) If he didn't feel like a little brother to me, I would have told him to piss off.
With his short height, blond hair, and childlike face, you would never would have guessed he was one of the oldest supernatural out there.
The only thing that could have given him away was his eyes. Bright green, like the color of emeralds and the way those who have been on this earth for a long time and is full of wisdom. One look into his eyes and you would think he was a thousand years old (800, but who's counting.)
How did me and this tiny, scaly, beast of a man become friends? Just a little teasing, bickering and a lot of silent understanding.
But I digress.
The reason I was sent to this hell hole at this time of night was because I had to find the leader of our little rebel problem. No one has been able to find the leader of the New Moon, we only have a name to go by. Eric Nightpaw. Sounds like a Werecat name to me, but I wouldn't know.
All I know is that we received a tip that he would be here tonight and that I am only to get an identity. Fat chance in that, Ill capture him and make him spill his pathetic guts.
Edward should have known better than to send me to get a stupid picture, but it beats sitting at home talking to the fish. Which I need to remember to feed him when I get back, maybe he would like some kelp...
That's when someone ran in to me.
"Hey watch were your walking!"
He turned around and looked at me, I almost gasped (and I don't do that often.) He was the most beautiful man I have ever seen. He had light blue eyes that sparkled, shaggy hair the color of oak wood and a sheepish smile that could make any heart swoon and don't get me started on his body. It looked like he hit the gym no less than 4 times a week. From under his tight tee shirt, I could see his six pack.
"Im sorry, im surprised I didn't see you there, you are defiantly to beautiful to miss," he said with a sly grin, "I hope I didn't hurt you too badly"
"Im.. Fine," I struggled to say, I just couldn't stop looking," I shouldn't have reacted that way, let me make it up with a drink?"
"Maybe next time, I have to meet up with someone right now"
I felt my heart sink, are all the good ones taken? "With your girlfriend?"
"No a work associate, but come find me next week, I might even buy you a drink."
He was about to walk away, until I thought of something.
"Wait, what is your name?"
"Eric"As he walked away, my heart sank for the second time that night.
Please tell me the man that I just kind fell for, is the man I planned to kill earlier that night...
