CHAPTER 3 - Break-in Reunion

We stayed like that, kissing for a long time. Taking short gasps for breath the least amount of times possible. Seven o'clock came too fast.

We said our goodbyes with a kiss, and he walked down the path. I decided to read while he was gone. Aaron had several large bookshelves in the attic. Which were filled with books, and it felt strange being able to choose what book to read. I eventually settle on a ginormous novel called Moby Dick.

After reading for hours I heard the sound of footsteps climbing up the stairs.

"Juliette?" Aaron was yelling.

"Up here. In the attic.". I yelled back at him.

"Hello there, love." He says. His hair was a sexy mess. "I'm going to have to work late up here tonight. And I would love to stare at you all night but it's very distracting, so I must ask you to read some place else." He sighed not wanting me to leave.

I kissed him on the cheek and walked out the door. After looking for a while for a good place to read I settled on a balcony off the landing at the top of the stairs. Reading there felt surprisingly normal.

The balcony became my reading ledge. Everyday after Aaron left for doing whatever the hell he does, I oils choose a new book from those book selves and read for hours. And after spending a half an hour with Aaron once he got home which was always around three thirty in the afternoon, I would go back out onto my reading ledge and stay there reading till dinner.

I have been doing this for six days, and each new book is another adventure that takes me across seas to exotic countries. Never have I seen anyone else pass by the house, until today.

It is around four thirty in the afternoon. And I'm getting a little bored of the novel I'm reading. I hear something, I think. Yup I deffinetly hear someone, and I know the voice. It's Adam and Kenji. Oh my God. I stand up to head back inside but Kenji sees me.

"Juliette," Adam screams.

I can just hear the scrapping of footsteps against the pavement. They were going to barge in here. I couldn't let that happen. I did the first thing that came into my mind. I ran towards the front door, and locked it. But I knew that wasn't going to be enough to stop two men trained by Warner. I pulled the small table by the door I front of the door to stop it from opening.

"Juliette!" Adam is screaming and pounding his fist at the door. I keep hearing my name screamed through the door. Finally the door knob is being turned, all the way, it's unlocked, they unlocked it.

And Kenji kicks open the door. Crap. Not my best plan.

Adam pulls me into an embrace. he's refusing to let go even as I struggle to escape his grasp. finally I remembered that Aaron is in the attic, but he couldn't hear us. I screamed.

"Aaron! Aaron, come! Now! Aaron!" I screamed.

Kenji and Adam looked at me like I've gone insane. Of course, I was the only one to know that Warner's first name was Aaron. But they probably do think I've went insane, I disappear for a week and don't even try to find my way back to Omega Point.

I finally hear Aaron's rapid footsteps, he was running, running for me.

"Come on Kenji now!" Adam says. Kenji who was heading back over to us stopped at the sound of footsteps. I realized why Adam needed Kenji, to disappear, he wanted us to disappear and head back to Omega Point.

"Juliette!" There was only one scream, and it was Aaron's voice. I felt Adam tense behind me, his muscles stiffed. These two would recognize Aaron's voice anywhere.

I saw them mouthing Warner, at each other. But they were too late to try to escape. Aaron was already facing us, with a very annoyed grin on his face.

"Hello Kent, Kishimoto." He says calmly even though the vein in his forehead is easily seen, his body, his perfect sexy body is completely running on rage right now, "I would appreciate it if you let go of my girlfriend and evacuated the area before I shoot you in your skull."

At the word girlfriend I felt Adam's body shudder and I was able to escape his grip during that second. I ran over to Aaron and dug my face into his neck, and wrapped his arm around me.

When I turned around to look at Adam and Kenji they both had completely different expressions. Kenji is both confused and shocked, while Adam is both jealous and extremely angry.

"Your lying," Adam whispers. but Aaron hears him.

"No I'm not," He says.

Adam shakes his head in disapproval. He still doesn't believe Aaron. How could I possibly love Warner? Well I do.

"Not possible." He mutters.

And even to my own surprise I'm the one to speak.

"Actually very possible, because its true." I say. Adam looks at me almost horrified as if I believe everything Warner is saying, and I do.

And just like that to surprise everyone, even Aaron, I kiss Aaron. I made sure our lips were pressed together long enough to make sure Adam deffinetly believed me. I heard Kenji curse. And there was a stomping sound.

Aaron was the one to break the kiss. His face stayed only inches apart from mine for a few seconds. Adam had already left the house and was waiting for Kenji by the street.

Kenji nodded at us and darted away with Adam. I closed the door behind him. I suddenly regret ever discovering the balcony.

"Love?" Aaron asks, "What the hell just happened?"


Yay finally it's finished!!!
