The Runaway

Chapter 1

One day me, Jamyra, Adia, and  Sarai got tired of being mistreated, unfair teachers, school, and strict rules, that they all decided to runaway one night. "Are you guys ready?" I asked,"Yeah, are you Myra?" asked Adia."Hold on almost" answered Jamyra, "Hurry up or we'll never leave this place" I said. "Hold on, can't I say bye to Nespoley?!"she said. "Alright, but don't tell him where were going." "Fine, but don't rush me."It was 9:37, and we were barely leaving Riverdale, although we had left home at 8:30.All we had was clothes, water, food, and snacks. We all got off at Walmart to buy more food,snacks, water, and other drinks. We also went to the restroom, so that we didn't have to stop too many times  during the trip. While the others were using the restroom I was thinking of how Jamyra didn't cry when she said bye to Nespoley. I was actually kinda surprised. When we were all ready we went back to our car. We all had our phones fully charged, juts in case we got lost. We also had our  chargers, just in case they needed to be charged. We were leaving Georgia, and Jamyra was smiling instead of crying, I i was even more surprised, because she didn't cry at all  during the trip. We were headed toward Florida, and I had noticed that the same black Dodge Challanger behind us. Then,I remembered of how Jamyra didn't cry when she said bye to Nespoley. I looked at her and she was smiling while she was texting. The only reason she smiles while texting is when she's texting Nespoley. That' when I knew what she did. She told Nespoley we were going to Florida, and she would text his every direction  we had planned. I stopped at a gas station and I got off to see if I could find the car. I went inside the store and stayed there for a moment to see if I could find the car. That way Jamyra wouldn't suspect anything. That's when I saw the car pull up next to mine, and the driver was talking to Jamyra. She was smiling at him, but I couldn't see his face so well. Inside  the man's car, there were four other men. I walked out the store, and asked Sarai if she wanted to come with me  to get some more snacks, and she said Yeah. When we got in the store she asked "Why do you want to buy more snacks if we already have plenty in the car?", "I didn't bring you here for snacks, I just wanted to ask you if Nespoley is in the car that pulled up next to ours", "Oh, well yeah...I thought you already knew that didn't Jamyra tell you?","Of course she didn't, I told her not to tell him where we were going before we left my house! Do you know who else is on the car with Nespoley?","Yeah, Raymond, Christian, and Miachel,", "Okay, now all I have to do is show her that I already know.","How are you going to do that? Are you just gonna go up to her and say 'Guess what I already know you told Nespoley to come with us'?","No, that's why I brought you here, to help me tell her without me getting mad and her getting emotional.","I thought I was here to help you pick out some snacks?","Bitch I brought you here to know if Nespoley was in that car!","Oh, but I wanted some more snacks.","Fine, your fat ass can go and buy some more damn snacks," I said rolling my eyes. "You better hurry up, because I'm leaving in five minutes," I told her, but it really seemed like she wasn't going to waste one second of her time to get all the snacks she wanted, because at the end she bought: 2 bags of Takis, 3 bags of Hot Fries,  Snicker bars, 6 Reese's, 6 Margaritas, 2 Fanta's, 3 Starbucks, 1 Coke, and 3 Gatorades. After we paid for all the snacks we had to take 8 bags full of all the snacks she bought to our car. When we sat down I turned to Jamyra and said "When were you planning on telling me about Nespoley?","What are you talking about?", "You know what I'm talking about, don't play dumb with me, especially not now. Why did you tell Nespoley after I told you not to?" Jamyra started to cry and said, "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry, I just didn't want to be away from him.", "I wouldn't have gotten mad if it was just Nespoley, but it wouldn't have been fair for Adia , because she would've left her boyfriend in Georgia.", "But you would've missed Raymond...You do love him, don't you?", "Yeah but why did Chris come?", "I don't know, I'll ask Nespoley, but please don't send him back, please?", she looks at me with tears in her eyes. How can I say no...I love her too much to see her cry more, so I told her "Fine, but please don't cry anymore, I don't like seeing you cry. If you keep on crying I'll cry too"," Thank you Maritza, thank you, and I'm sorry if I'm still crying, but I'm crying of happiness. I promise you wont regret letting them come along." Tears roll down my cheeks, and then we hug. "Why don't you go and hug Nespoley, I bet he misses you too." Then, she walked over to Nespoley, and kisses him. Then, Adia and Sarai got out the car and went tot meet the boys. I stayed inside the car for a moment, to think of what would happen now that the boys have joined us on our journey. Then. I told myself to worry about this later and left the car. We were all happy to be together, but I still didn't know why Christian was here, so I walked to Jamyra and asked her "Can you do me a favor?", "Depends, what is it?", "Can you ask Nespoley if he can ask Christian why he came?", "Ok", "Thanks Myra", "Hey...You did me a huge favor, so I'll make you a favor." Jamyra walked up to Nespoley and started talking to him then Nespoley went up to Christian and started talking to him. Then, Nespoley walked toward me and Jamyra and said "He acme because he like one of y'all girls." He probably likes Sarai, she's single," I said.
