Chapter One

**Savvy's POV & Thoughts**

"Mom!! Your really making me move away? From my friends?! You know I can't make new friends because of how shy I am. I hate this so much. Your ruining my life." I got in the back seat and slammed the door. She started driving without saying a word.

We were on our way to the airport to fly down to Phoenix Arizona where my step dad was stationed. We found a house in Phoenix close but not too close to where my step dad was stationed.

"Look. I know your not happy with this and won't be. But I think this is good. Change is good. You'll like it I promise the house is huge!! You'll love it!! You will start school in two weeks when the next Trimester starts. Your gonna love it here, please just give it a a chance." My mom said as we arrived at the airport.

I rolled my eyes and put the other earphone in my ear.

We got our boarding and gate passes and got onto the plane. It took us 4 and a half hours to go from Michigan to Arizona. I took a nap while listening to music. The first song that played before I got onto the plane was "Sweatshirt" by Jacob, I was cringing and almost choked I laughed so hard, but then I just started listening to Justin Bieber and Cameron Dallas and Jack and Jack. I don't really know the rest I was asleep.

We arrived in AZ and we saw our Über waiting for us. I grabbed my bag and got in. He drove us to our house. I walked in and it was HUGEEEEE. I ran upstairs to my room and put away my stuff, I grabbed my pastel penny board and decided to go for a ride around the neighborhood.

I walked towards Starbucks and as attempted to open the door it opened really fast as a little boy came running out and I got hit in the head and fell. I stood up and brushed off my shorts and mumbled "I already hate Arizona"

"Is that yours?" A boy asked me pointing to the grown wear my flower crown was.
"Yes thank you!" I bent down and picked it up.
I looked at this boy and he had brown hair that sorta like stuck up in a way, he had unbelievable green/hazel/brown eyes, he was wearing a muscle tank, and some khakis. He rubbed his hand through his hair smiled and licked his lips as he stuck both hand in his pocket.

He offered to shake my hand and said "hi I'm Hunter" I shook his hand. "I'm Savannah.." I said a little awkwardly. He was cute.

Who am I kidding he was hot.

"I'm sorry my little brother slammed the door open and hit you. He's a rat" he laughed and opened the door for me.
"It's okay" I laughed and thanked him.

"HUBTER WHOS THAT?" The little boy came up to him and said "that's savannah" he said. Hunter bent down so the little boy whispered something in his ear.

"Uhm Ashton wants me to tell you your cute" Hunter itched the back of his head.

"Aw thanks Ashton your cute too!" I said.

"Hey can I uh get your number? I gotta go! We should hang out sometime!" Hunter asked getting out his phone, he handed it to me and I put my number in. We said our goodbyes and Ashton hugged me.

As they were walking away I heard Ashton say "your giving me her number too" Hunter yelled no and ran.

I got my Starbucks and began to ride home. Once I got home I walked in and laid on the couch.

"Hey Sav how was your day?" My mom came over and asked.

"Loved it." I smiled and got a text from Hunter.

Be ready at 7:30 what's your address I'll have my mom pick you up :)

I literally live right next door, SO YOUR THE NEW GIRL ON THE BLOCK?!
Lol I guess!! That's so coo!! We will really be able to hang out now!!! Haha see you soon gotta go.

Maybe Arizona won't be too bad after all.
