If we were blind, maybe we would see the world as a better place

If we were blind, maybe we would see the world as a better place. A place without death, wars, not even a trace.

If we were deaf, maybe we would hear the words we deserve to hear, the words that soothe our sorrows, the words that we hold dear.

If we were crippled, maybe we would be able to go to all the places we want to see, the places we want to feel, so we could finally feel free.

If we were mute, maybe we would be able to be heard, so we could make a change, so we could exchange selfless words.

If we were dead, maybe we would be able to live our lives the way we want, without criticism, without hurt to flaunt.

This is ironic, but anything's better than the world we live in today, a world full of racism, sexism, a sky turning grey. Who am I to judge humanity though, a world that is dying, but continues to grow.
