Chaptre Deux - Meet The People in My Life

I shot up from my bed, waking up from my nightmare. The day that Riley had died. I'm now 17, living with my grandmother, but not for much longer. Nanna had become sick and the doctors said she didn't have much longer, so they gave her a choice to whether she wanted to go home or stay at the hospital, of course she chose to come home; preffering not to leave me alone. If nanna dies, I'll have to move back to Doncaster to live with my half Aunt Jay. Who apparently my mum hated. Mum's mum, Gamma, had two daughters from two men. Uncle Stevie was from mum's dad, but Aunt Jay is from Gamma's ex-husband.

Uncle Stevie used to be in the military, but he died in one of the wars, mum was never really close to her family, since it was so screwed up; but dad has a really close-knit family. There's Nanna, dad's mum. Gramps, dad's dad, who died of Cancer 6 years ago, Uncle Riley, my dad's older brother who Riley was named after. And Uncle Will, my dad's oldest brother, who is currently serving in the military.

I got out of bed, got changed and all that jazz. Today was Saturday, and I was going shopping with my best friend, Bree Hewitt

Bree is an... interesting girl, you can say. She's super geeky, but also one of the popular girls at school, alongside some of my other besties, Jasci, Tess, and Rayne.

I put on a pair of purple tie-dye denim shorts, that I had made with Jascy on, with a cute tee that had an awkward turtle on it. I put a pair of cut-out boots and made my way to the mall after saying bye to Nanna.

"Aye Kay!" I heard Bree yell.

Bree calls me Kay because she likes the name Kayla. Oh and my name is Stella Kayla Amie Michaela Brooke Tomlinson-Phelps. I probably woul've gotten Nanna to change it, but my full name is a memory of my parents.

I walked over to see a waving Bree who was beaming at me. I smiled my back,

"Heya" I said

"Hiya, where d'ya wanna go first?" She asked.

"Um.. how about Forever 21?"

"Leggoo!!" She squealed.

We made our way to Forever 21, conversing about the latest celebrities, music, and food.

"OMG, have you heard the new One Direction song? It's called Best Song Ever! The video is freaking hilarious!" She said brightly.

"How cliche. Meh, I don't really like 1D" I murmured

We entered Forever 21, I found a really pretty dress that went down to just above my knees. It was floral and had lace on the back of it. I grabbed it alongside a Peter Pan collared tee that had an owl on it, and floral print shorts. I went into the dressing room, where Bree had just walked out. She wore a peach coloured dress. She looked mega gorgeous.

Bree and I shopped for a while. We had Nandos for lunch and then went back home. I ended up getting the dress, turtle print shorts (I have a massive obsession with turtles, and owls.) And a massive over-sized Mickey Mouse sweater. I opened the door. "Nanna" I yelled, "Nanna! I'm home, where are you?"

Sorry, this is kinda short. :/ I'll update chapter 3 if I get like... 10-20 reads:) Last time I posted this I got 53 reads, try beat that, I'll update twice if that happens:D
