A nice and foggy morning awakens the dark underground, a cloudy, yet sunny morning welcoming the surface. Asuka gets up, noticing that no one was in the hallway like usual. "They all must be asleep or downstairs," She thinks to herself. Asuka steps down the stairs and sees no one was inside. "Damnit," she mutters under her breath.
Asuka goes outside and notices Katsuko and Shizuko out back, carrying an odd body bag. "May I ask why you two have...um...A body bag?" Katsuko turns her head. "Reasons." Shizuko flashes an innocent smile, her loud voice covering muffled screams from the body bag. "I'm helping Kat run some Erens..!" Asuka slowly nods. "...You mean Errands, Shizu..?"
"Yeah! Erens!"
"Errands."
"Right!" Asuka sighs and cracks a small smile. "Where are the others?" Katsuko looks toward the wall. "On a mission in wall Maria.. And Hanoko is asleep." "Oh." She nods and walks back inside.

Down Underground...

Chara takes a deep breath and holds their knife, sitting on their bed. "Why do I still even have this.." They grip the knife in anger and start to tear up, the tears barely washing away old and dried blood stains. "I've taken so many lives... I'm not sure if I'm done." They gulp and whimper, Toriel coming into the room.
"Child..Are you alright?" They bury their face in their knees, shaking their head. "N-No..." Toriel sighs and pats their back. "I'll ask Frisk if they could make you a pie with me.. Would that make you feel better," She says to them. "I'm not sure. Probably..."
Toriel nods and gets up, going out the room. Chara sighs and wipes their tears.
"Does she forgive me...? Can she forgive me..? Ugh.. Of course she can, Chara. What are you thinking? Kat is the most understanding and forgiving person out there.. Only people she is unable to forgive is Eren..Sans..and her Grandmother.. On her moms side. Honestly, no one in her family could forgive any of them for the trouble they caused to me, her, or anyone else. Especially the entire kingdom," They think. Toriel comes back with Frisk, setting a pie by Chara, on the bed.
"Chara.." Frisk holds out their hand, and Chara looks up and suddenly sticks the knife out to tell Frisk they dont want to be touched. "Not now, Frisk." "Oh." Chara sits the pie in their lap, sighing. They ask Toriel, "Do you still have that scroll with that old dance..? From the surface?" She hesitates, then nods in response. "Get it for me." Toriel nods again and takes Frisk out the room with her.
Chara gulps down their tears and starts to eat the pie, thinking about how Kat may feel if they decided to dance with her to do what they really wanted to do. "She would understand, right? This damned world has no more hope. We should erase it and rewrite it so that everything is happy... The last few weeks of this world as it attempts to fight against the end of it can be spent having fun with loved ones, and saying goodbye."
They put the empty dish on the floor, and Toriel comes back with the scroll. "Whatever you do, don't use it with a partner...." She sighs. "Well, I know you would dance with the Princess. But don't." Chara nods, knowing they just lied to their own adoptive mother.
