You were skateboarding  at the park with your bestfriend, she had no clue how to skate but you? Oh you were a professional skateboarder. "Ugh! Help me raven!!" Your best friend declared with a huff 

"Keep trying, it's easy" You mentioned   "You're only saying that because you're a ' professional'" she air quoted professional, "Whatever, i learned from trying" You told her

"no, i'm going home, i hate skateboarding"She marched off leaving your spare skateboard she was using 

"can i try?" A soft voice echoed behind you

Jace. " Of course" You handed him the board 

"Have you ever skateboarded?'You asked him stepping onto your board  "a couple of times when i was little, you?" He asked  

You smiled "I'm doing it now," You pointed out. He smirked at you "Your smile is beautiful" He mentioned. you two stood on the board he held onto your hand, probably for support 

"Thank you" You blushed, a couple of butterflies took flight in your stomach 

"Lets go, push your self ba-" 

He slid his finger on your lip "Shhh...i know how to do it"

"You do? since when? You talked, his finger came down to his side,

"since 3rd grade, let's have a challenge to the ice cream stand...GO!" He dashed off you followed him going fast, you met him by his side, next thing you knew you beat him down the sidewalk to the stand "Cheater" He joked " Says the boy he had a head start!' You joked back

"rematch" He said "Nooo, i want ice cream first" You fake pouted pointing to the ice cream man. He smiled "You're cute" Jace said

"One chocolate fudge....and raven, what do you want?" He asked

"same thing you have" After he paid for ice cream you found a nearby bench and sat down, your skateboard under your feet rolling it back and forth

"woah princess, you have some right here, he slid his finger across your cheek wiping ice cream from it "Thanks" You said 

"Ice cream race" He began chugging his ice cream down "Oh no, i'm not getting brain freeze not only that i will spill and i don't want that, i was already nervous from you wiping your finger across my face, ice cream is messy and i don't want to look a mess in front the guy i practically like" You rambled on and on, you found yourself admitting you like jace, he stared at you with a smile

"opps....um yeah, i gotta go" You stepped on your board about to dash off "well if you must  go bye raven" He said

"goodbye'

"oh and raven," He said grabbing gently on your wrist holding you back " Yes?"

"I like you too" He said " and here is your board" He handed you your board " Oh no, keep it...its a ...gift" You claimed 

He kissed your cheek "Bye Raven, " He let go of your wrist "Bye..jace" You wanted to freak out because he kissed you but it would be embarrassing in front of him. so once you got down the sidewalk far enough you yelled "YASS" and high fived yourself, you turned to get one more look at jace WATCHING you having your excitement party , he gave a small wave , and you smiled and skated
