Unexpected

Chapter 1

"Callie, I need to tell you something," said my dad, as I came through the door. "Yeah dad?" I questioned, I had no idea what he was about to say. "Well, this weekend I'm taking a crowd of people to Barbados, since I am the captain of the ferry an every thing is free, and it's the school holidays...Would you like to come?!" Explained my dad. OH EM GEE! He is actually taking me to Barbados aka Paradise. I had to ask if my friends could come as well. "Um..." I had no idea what to say, I curled my hair round my finger, "Well first off when am I going? How long? And is it just me or...?" "Tomorrow morning, 1 week and 2 friends" dad answered.OMG! This is like a dream come true!

Before I could think, I quickly said "Thanks!" And ran to the phone. I dialled my best friend's number. "Hello?" Asked my friend Sam, on the other end. "Hey Sammy, it's me Callie. I have some BIG news to tell you!" I said. "What?!" Said Sam, I could tell she was excited. "Well, Yanno that my dad is a Captain of a ferry, and like he lets me go to places on his ferry for free...Well, he is taking me and 2 friends to Barbados for a whole week! And one of those two friends is you!" I blurted out. "What?!", I knew that Sammy didn't get a thing I said, I was about to repeat and then "OH EM GEE...!!!!!! OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!" I heard her squeal. "Yeah, yeah", I said, "Go ask your mom then!" I said. "Hold it," said Sammy. I heard her squealing and running out of the door. I waited for about a minute or two. Then I heard Sammy's footsteps coming up stairs. "Hey Callie... She said........."

"Hmmmm...Wait!" Said Sam, "Drumroll please!" Yeah of course, knowing Sam she would stop at the most important moment in the world, for a pathetic drumroll, I knew I had to do it otherwise we wouldn't get anywhere...I banged my fist against my desk, a fail drumroll. "YES!" Sam said. "Omg!" I said, I was so happy, I could pass out. "I'm gonna pack" said Sam. "Kk" I replied. "Bye Sam" I said. "Bye Callie" she said. " I pressed the "End" button on the phone and dialled my other friends number, Lexi.

Yes! All my friends were coming, all I needed to do was pack. I pulled out my pink leopard print suitcase from the cupboard. Then, I went to my bedroom I brushed my hair and teeth, put on my PJs, pulled my hair into a messy bun and hopped into bed (Well, not literally "hopped"!) And thought about my day ahead, but before I knew it, I was asleep.

A/N: Hey guys! I hope you like my new fan fic! So obviously the main characters are; Callie, Sam and Lexi. There will also be some new characters in the story aswell, and sorry if this bit was a bit boring but it's basically my intro and things will get better! I will try to update every day aswell.
