Unexpected

Chapter 6

I opened the door, the ferry was crowded! "Party room or Mini Pub?" I asked. "Let's check mini pub first," answered Lexi. We walked towards the pub, Sam could be anywhere and who knows where Dan is. We walked in the pub, people offered us drinks but we rejected them. We looked around the bar and dance floor, they are no where to be found. Then we walked up to the Party room. "There she is!" Said Lexi, she pointed to Sam who was at the bar, drinking some Cola. "Hey!" She said, sipping her cola, "Whatcha doin'?!" "We went out looking for Dan and you," I said. "Oh! Dan went to play Poole with some people and then he went to the restaurant room for dessert ," replied Sam. "We have to go and find him, and Sam. Just, don't wonder off and follow us," I said. Lexi, Sam and I went down stairs to level 3. There Dan was, eating a large ice cream sundae. My brother could be a bit of a pig at times. I walked up to him, "I think you should be getting back," I said putting my hand on his shoulder. "Okay! Okay! I was just finishing this off," he said in an annoyed voice. "Then meet us at the room," I said, walking off. "You aren't my mother!!!" Shouted Dan, after us. I just turned my head around and smirked as I kept walking.


I woke up from the alarm of my phone, thank goodness Dan is back. I showered and put on favorite top from Tilly's and then some light pink high wasted shorts. I brushed my hair and put it into a fishtail braid and finally I put on some mascara and cherry pink lip gloss. Then I pulled on my converse and grabbed my iPhone and my purse. The others were all asleep, apart from Sam because she woke up from my alarm, obviously. I sat down at a table, in the cafe. A waitress came over to me, "What would you like to order?" She asked. "Some cornflakes please," I said. She scribbled down my order on her notepad. "Thankyou" she smiled and walked away. I pulled out my iPhone and checked my Instagram and Twitter. 22 people favourited my new tweet and 2 retweeted. 27 new likes and new feed on Instagram. I turned off my iPhone as Sam came over. "Hey!" She said. "Hey Sam," I said , tapping my finger nails on the table. "Dan's in the shower, and Lexi is still asleep" she said. "Well, we leave at 11:00 am" I said. "It's 8:30 now" said Sam. "Yeah" I said, twirling my hair round my index finger. The waitress came and gave me my cornflakes, "Thanks" I smiled.


When I got back to the room, I brushed my teeth and packed all my stuff back into my suitcase. I walked outside and sat on the seats outside our room. The view was beautiful! A man's cane over the speaker. "Will be at Barbados in half an hour". As soon as the speaker came over, Lexi and Dan came out of the room. "What was that?" Asked Dan. "We are going to be at Barbados in half an hour," said Lexi.



When half an hour was up we got our suitcases and back packs, and headed outside of the ferry. A few lady's said "Thankyou!" To us. "Barbados is beautiful!" Said Lexi. She was right, the ocean was pure, clear light blue and the beaches had white sand, and the swaying palm trees, the tropical fish were swimming in the sea and the orange sun was roasting. It was definitely beautiful. This is going to be a wonderful time!
