Jacob stood on the platform getting ready for yet another day at work. It was the same thing every day. Hed wake up. Hed go to work. Eat the same lunch then hed go home. It was no life but it was the life he now lived.
He waited for the train so he could go to work and just get yelled at. Yet again by his boss. Dumb man. Thinking he could kick him around. He waited but something caught his attention from the corner of his eye. A piece of paper being followed by a pretty blonde girl. She finally stopped right in front of him and he had caught the paper. Jacob attempted to hand him the paper but it flew out of his hands. Smacking the girl in the face. Leaving a red lipstick stain onto the piece of paper. He attempted to hand it to her but she had stepped onto a train cart in front of him. He sighed and climbed into the next cart.
As he got to work he settled into his desk looking across the way and seeing her. The blonde girl working at a desk. He had to see her again. He tried first attempt throwing a paper airplane across the way to her building. It hitting somewhere other than the small girls workspace.
Another attempt. Then another. Then another. All the airplanes flew away. Soon enough she got up to leave the apartment. He had no papers left...but wait he did. The kissed one. He had to use it. He had to get her to pay attention to him. As he was running to get her attention he tripped and there went the paper. He sighed running out to follow it. It landed in an alleyway...just like the rest of them. He sighed ready to give up and go home. The papers began to fly out. Going in all directions around his feet.
Meanwhile a little distance away. The blonde girl who now we can call Stephanie was looking at flowers. The paper airplane landed straight in front of her in one of the flowers. As soon as she attempted to pick it up. It flew away. She had to follow it. So she did. She followed it as it flew.
Meanwhile the airplanes stuck to Jacob as they made him go different directions. Left then right then back to left. Finally into the subway. Up and into the area. As Stephanie caught it. The subway stopped. Jacob came out of the subway and two stepped onto the platform. She smiled and outstreched a hand. Handing him over the piece of paper with the kiss on it. She smiled and shook his hand. Jacobs life changed that day. He was in love with this girl. And he knew something great would happen.
