My Korean Dream

Crushing on a stranger

Krystal and I were getting ready for our second day of business. It was a rainy, humid day, but hopefully in the afternoon it would get cooler.

We went to our separate rooms and I was so excited to see Hyun....for some reason.

"Hey Hyun."I said trying to make a good morning greeting. I had my hair to the side to make a good impression.

"Oh,hey Seoyoung!"Hyun said with a happy smile. "You look like a true singer."He said complimenting me.

"Oh thank you so much. I just wanted to be part of music."I said kind of embarrassed.

"Can we sing "Spring Love" by Eric Nam and Wendy."I suggested.
"Yeah that sounds like a good idea."He said smirking at me.

We started to sing and this time he put his microphone closer to mine as if he was trying to hear me better.

"Since this song is a duet I'm just setting the mood."Hyun explained to me to make me sure I didn't get freaked out.

"Ok it's fine."I said trying to not sound sarcastic.

He got more closer to me and put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. He felt really warm and secure to be with.

I was still singing the song,but this time I was actually feeling the beat in my heart and it was all because of Hyun. Thank God he was my instructor like he was just for me only.

What is wrong with me! I thought to myself in total confusion.

Hyun was so charming and he let me feel more confident of myself. Now I know I can do it and live my dream.

"I'm really proud of you Seoyoung, you've improved very much,so I've decided to give you extra credit for your work."Hyun said smiling at me with pride.

"Thank you so much!"I said in shock and happiness. I ran to hug him and felt his abs inside of his black,v-necked shirt. I realized what I was doing a pulled away really quickly.

"I'm so sorry,I was just very thankful for you to do that."I said feeling so retarded.

"It's ok. I appreciate that your thankful,that's why I did it."Hyun said to me with a wide smile on his face and hugged me back.

"It's nice to know that you care."He said with excitement. "Do you want to do another song?"he asked hoping I would say yes.

"Yeah,let's do it."I agreed with a small grin.

He picked the song this time and it was Big Bang "Let's not fall in love."which was one of my other favorites that wasn't BTS.

I was actually feeling the music and sang with pride and confidence. Hyun and I were staring at each other and singing the song as if it was our own.

I felt so weird right after that because the feeling that I had was being on stage and showing who I really am to people.

This day was a memorable one, so I'll never forget it. I'll never forget Hyun's dark brown Asian eyes. Now that I think about it,he looks like Suga from BTS. LOL.

       Later that day
When Krystal and I came out after work,Krystal ran up to me telling me her new dance with Taeyang.

"I literally felt like I was in a dream."Krystal said squealing.

"Same." I said thinking of the same thing. Hyun was in my mind the whole time and I didn't even know why.

"Oh yeah,I forgot to tell you that Hyun gave me extra credit since I improved my singing."I said proudly.
"That's so awesome Seoyoung!"Krystal said with excitement and pride.

"Taeyang showed me how to shuffle my feet and do flips,even though I fell a couple of times."Krystal said laughing at the thought. "That's funny. Hyun showed me how to feel the music and sing it with confidence in my heart."I said imagining that moment with him.

"Wow that is so deep."Krystal responded back to me.

Later we decided to go to a Chinese restaurant a few miles from where we lived.

I spared some sushi for later since I loove Asian food so much.

"You should lay off the sushi a bit, you know?"said Krystal worried about me. "It's ok. It's just so good and I love it. And plus, I am part Asian anyway so don't judge me."I said blushing a little.

When I got home I sat at my desk and started to write some songs lyrics that have been stuck in my head all day. I took some verses from most of my favorite songs, which was basically all of them.

The lyrics that I put were going really well now that I think about it. It made me feel good about myself like I've accomplished some of my dream.

Kwon told me to go to sleep when I saw him laying on the couch watching NASCAR like I cared.

I went on my fluffy, black and white blanket that also had roses on them with my nice and clean white pillows.

Wonder what is happening now in Korea? Thinking to myself like always.

Might as well just dream about it then.
