~Badgerfang's Path~

Chapter One - A New Beginning

Badgerfang perked an ear as the rouges streamed into the camp. She thought, 'this is my chance!' As she ran out of her den. As fighting broke out, Badgerfang decided that her plan could wait. A muscular tom ran up to her, and slashed a paw across her flank. She turned and bit down on his leg, feeling blood well at her jaws. The cat shrieks in pain, and clawed her tail. She scratched one of his eyes, and he fled out of the camp. After fighting a few more cats, killing one of them, she decided it was time to start her plan.

Badgerfang slunk into the leader's den, where she saw the leader of RainClan, Featherstar, fighting a she-cat. It ran out of the den as Featherstar slashed the she-cat's muzzle. "Featherstar..." Badgerfang said coldly, pacing around the leader. Her tail flicking. "W-what ... Are you... D-doing?" Featherstar asked shakily as Badgerfang unsheathed her claws. "Killing you," she muttered. "I'll be the best leader RainClan has ever seen!" She cackles softly as she bit into the leader's throat, her body going limp. "Wh-" she managed to choke out as she died. 

Badgerfang sighs , pretending to act sad. The cries of battle died down, and Badgerfang pads out of the den. "My fellow clanmates..." She said flatly. "Featherstar has died." She flicked an ear as cats gasped in shock. "So I am now your leader, Badgerstar!" She said proudly, and several cats cheered. 'Yes... Yes!' She thought happily.
