Daryl's going hunting with like everyone but me and Rick. After everyone leaves Rick comes up to me. "Hi," he says. "Sorry for punching you!" Is all I can think to spit out. "Oh! I prolly deserved that!" He smiles. I smile back just to be nice. "Why didn't you go hunting?" He asked breaking the silence. "I didn't feel like it and plus it's not like Daryl would let me go. He's protective but not too protective. What about you why did you let your family go but you not go yourself?" I ask a little too curiously. "Daryl told me to stay back and protect you," Rick says okwardly. I smile and shake my head. "Oh my god!" I say upset. "Hey calm down," Rick says smiling and laughing. "What are you laughing about" I say as I tilt my head. "Oh nothin! Um well you see it's kinda funny how he sent another guy to watch over you. He asked me so it's fine but any other guy at camp would have tried to steal you from Daryl expect for Dale," He explained. I smiled and started laughing. I jokingly punched Rick in the arm. I tripped over a rock and landed on Rick. "R-Rick?" I stutter. "N-Nia?" He stutters back. All of a sudden I feel Ricks lips touch mine. It lasts for about two minutes. "Rick we can't do this," I finally say getting up, "You have a wife and kid and I have Daryl," "Um s-sorry," Rick says sounding sincere. "It's ok. It was as much as my fault as it was yours," I smile. I spend the rest of the time sharpening knives. He went down to the lake to fish. They come back. "Where is Rick?" Lori asks. "Down at the lake. He decided to go fishing while I sharpen knives," I smile. "M'kay!" Lori says heading to the lake. Carl comes up to me. "Hey Carl! What's up!" I exclaim. "Hi. Uumm are you and Daryl together or something. Or do you like my dad?" He asks. What he said shocked me. "What do you mean?" I say smiling and laughing. "I came back to get something and I saw you kissing my dad," he said. "Look, that was a misunderstanding. Me and your dad are not a thing. I have Daryl and he has your mom. Please don't tell your mom or Daryl." I explain. "I was gonna ask you first. I won't tell anyone." He says. I smile. "Thank you Carl! I'll teach you how to shoot a bow and arrow. But we have to steal the bow and arrows from Daryl first!" I say mischievously, "And of course you have to ask your dad first and your mom. There together right now so let's go." "Yeah! Okay!" He says happily. We walk over to them. "Mom! Dad!" Carl calls them excitedly. "Yes sweetie" Lori asks. "Nia asked me if I wanted her to teach me how to shoot a bow and arrow and I said yes but she said I have to ask you guys. So here I am!" He explains. Lori and Rick look at each other. Then they look at me. "Why not!" Lori blurts out. I look at Rick to see if he agrees. He nods. "Okay Carl let's go steal from Daryl!" I smile at him. "Yeah!" He says. We run off but I can hear them regret their decision. I smile. I sneak into Daryl's tent while Carl keeps watch.
