I woke up that day feeling dizzy. I looked around the room it was still dark my eyes had slowly adjusted to the darkeness around me. I realized that I was in a hospital bed.I looked around again trying to remember what happend to me and where I was. I don't remember anything. I quietly sat up and tried to reach for the cellphone on the table beside my bed when the i heard footsteps coming towards the room. I just sat there and looked at the door as the knob turned and the door opened a man stood there quietly walked in sadly looking down the floor not realizing I was awake. I heared him sigh and quietly sob. I looked at him i felt i know him but then i couldn't remember. I was trying to remember him. he looked at me shocked a smile came to his face he quickly went out and alerted the nurse and the doctor. The lights turned on and Doctor and nurses came in followed by the man. They checked me up and talked to the man and left.
"Hi how are you feeling?" he smiled while sitting next to my bed.
"I'm just confused umm sorry but who are you,umm what happend? and where am I?" I Hesitenly asked him. His smile faded looks at me sadly and said
" Let me introduce myself again my name is Mark. You are here in LA Medical Hospital because..." his voice trailed off he looked away and looked at me worriedly. He seems like he wants to tell me but there is something stopping him.
"Hey umm Mark? you can tell me what happend its going to be alright" i smiled at him as assurance that i will be okay.
He sighed "okay.. You were caught in a car accident.. You were going to the bakery to buy pastries for.. umm..our anniversary... and a speeding drunk driver ...crashed into your car.." he finished tears started flowing from his eyes. I was shocked. I hesitently held his hand and He looked at me I leaned in and kissed him in his cheek. He blushed and so did I.
"Umm Can I ask you a question?" He said. I nodded and looked at him
"Is it okay if I court you again? and I want to tell you I love you and I always will" he shyly say as he held my hand
I smiled and nodded. Maybe he could help me remember things I forgot and I guess there is something that I havent forgotten its the love i have for him
