Chapter 1

Jess's P.O.V
I was in the car, on the way to my new neighbourhood. I was in the car with my sister (Tess) and my mum. My dad died in a car crash a few years ago and that is why we moved, to get away from that horrid place.
We got to our house in the neighbourhood and got out of the car. I went inside and dibsed a bedroom. It was spacey and looked a bit dirty, but I could clean it up!
It got dark and I hopped into my nice, new bed. I closed my eyes and went into a long deep sleep. Zzzzzzz
I opened my eyes and the sun was bright in my face. It was the first day at Tess and I's new HighSchool. I got changed and ran to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Tess and I finished eating and set off to the bus stop. We got on the bus and I found a seat at the back. Tess sat next to me on one side and a guy hopped next to me on the other side.
"H-hi," I said turning to face him.
He had slick brown hair, bright blue eyes and a fun smile.
"Hi! My name is Blake, what is your name?" He asked.
"M-my name is Jessica, Jess for short," I said.
"Heh nice name!" Blake smiled.
Tess turned to me and smirked. I just rolled my eyes and got out my phone. I was dying to text my best friend from my old neighbourhood.
Texting
Emma: Hey how's ur new home?
Jessica: Umm it's quite roomy but I just wish u were here!
Emma: Meet any1 new?
Jessica: Yeah I met this 1 guy called Blake
Emma: oooooh!
Jessica: Grrrr...
Emma: Hey Gtg I'll text u l8ter
Jessica: K cya

We soon got to school and I grabbed Tess's hand.
"Cmon!" I said leading her into the school.
It was huge! I went to the reception desk and they gave me my locker number and schedule.
Luckily me and Tess had our lockers next to each other.
I walked over to my locker and realised that Blake was on the other side of me.
"Hey, nice to see you again!!" Blake grinned.
"Same to you!" I blushed.
"What class do you have first?" Blake asked.
"Science," I said, looking down at my schedule.
"Same!" Blake said, grinning.
I turned to Tess and she told us she had science too.
We walked to science and I sat in a seat next to a girl I didn't know.
"Hi! My name's Ellie!" The girl said.
"Hello, my name's Jessica! Jess for short!" I replied.
We got out our textbooks and waited for the teacher to come in.
The teacher walked in and we concentrated on work.
The bell rang and I went into the cafeteria. I found a table and sat in a seat.
"Uhh.. Hey!" Tess said sitting in a seat next to me.
"Who did you sit next to?" I asked her.
"A-a b-boy called Jacob !" Tess said, obviously in dream land.
I wiggled my eyebrows and Tess didn't even notice.
"Hmm, I think you've found a man!" I giggled.
"Wha? N-no not a-at all!" Tess tensed up.
"I was just joking!" I exclaimed.
"Phew!" Tess said, relieved.
We were about to eat when Ellie came to our table.
"Hi!" Ellie grinned.
"Take a seat!" I smiled.
We ate our lunch and went back to our lockers to check the schedule.
