One Time Thing (Captainswan)

Diner for 3

Henry and Killian were sitting on the couch. Henry was teaching Killian how to play COD(call of duty).

Emma  had finished doing laundry. She checked watch and it was 5:30. She felt like she should make dinner. She opened the fridge to see what she can make.

There was ketchup, milk,lettuce,tomatoes, onion,and garlic.

Emma had no idea what to make for dinner.

"Hey what do you guys want for dinner."

"Um what ever you make.",Killian said playing video games.

"Yah same.",Henry replied also playing.

"Dang it.",Emma thought.

She walked over to her boyfriend and son and sat on the couch.

Killian got blown up by a RPG.He died.  

The end.

Just kidding he died in the video game.

"Ugh.",Henry said referring to all of Killian's training.

"What is it love?",Killian asked placing his hand on his thigh.

"There isn't enough food,for dinner.",Emma said moving her legs up on the couch.

"How about we go out?",Killian suggested.

"For dinner?"

"Aye,all of us.",he said looking at Henry and Emma.

Hook, Emma, and Henry all sat down in the restaurants chairs. They all decided to go to some fancy Japanese resturant. Henry ordered a hot soup and both Hook and Emma ordered sushi.

Killian had never tried sushi and Emma wanted him to try it.

"It is fish,so I'll be used to it.,"he said looking at Emma.

"Ok.",she said holding his hand.

"Should we order drinks?",she suggested.

"I think I'll have wine."

"Wine? No rum? What happened to my pirate?",Emma said joking.

Killian shrugged.

"I don't know if wine goes with sushi?", Emma asked questionably.

"It doesn't hurt to try love."

Emma nodded. She signaled for a waiter. And ordered wine, she turned to Henry and asked,"do you want anything?"

"Yah I'll just have tea."

The waiter nodded and scribbled into his notebook and said,"I will return with your drinks in minute." And he walked away.

"So Henry how's school?",Emma said fixing a fork on the table.

"Oh it's um fine.",he said not making eye. Contact.

Killian and Emma looked at each other. It was like they could read each other's thoughts. That's how things are when two people are perfect for each other.

Killian let out a sigh."how's Violet doing adjusting to the modern life?"

Henry half smiled."oh she's learning a lot."
Henry smiled."A few days ago I showed her what a TV was and she totally flipped out when I turned it on."

Killian smiled.

Emma said,"wow, aren't you and Violet close,if I didn't know any better I'd say your dating her."

Henry's smile disappeared."I-I do l-like her but-"

Henry didn't finish his sentence.

Killian and Emma looked at each other.
It was silent. Emma looked at Henry.

The drinks arrived and that broke Emma's gaze.

"But your scared she will reject you."she finished.

Henry nodded.

"So what if she does,why would anyone reject a man like Henry?",Killian said.

Henry didn't like all these questions about Violet.

"Of you really like Violet why can't you have the guts to ask her out?",Killian said.

Henry tried to look for a comeback."if you really love my mom, why haven't you proposed yet!"

Killian blushed and Emma looked embarrassed.

Henry read over his sentence. He did not mean it like that. Henry felt like an idiot. He felt so dumb, he laughed at his own foolish remark and ran to the restroom.

He splashed water on his face. He does wanted his mom to be happy, but marriage....Henry felt like they would be rushing things.

The food came and Emma was going to pick up her fork,but she dropped it on the floor. Henry got out of the restroom and was walking towards the tables.

"Oh no I got it love.",Killian said as he knelt down on one knee to pick up the fork.

From Henry's point of view he saw Killian on one knee and it looked like he hand something in his hand and he was giving it to Emma. "No,His proposing!I didn't mean this it was all a joke!",Henry thought.

Henry ran to the table."STOP,mom no you can't!"

Emma looked at Henry weridly.

"I can't what?"

"You can't marry him!",Henry pointed at Killian.

"What?!". Emma was confused.

"You Can't marry him right now!you can marry him,but this is kinda rushing things!"

"Henry, Killian didn't propose he just got my fork!",Emma said raising her fork in the air.

Killian sat back down.

Henry felt even more stupid. He slowly sat down.

People were looking at them.

Emma decided to eat the sushi with chopsticks and she taught Killian how to use them. He was a fast learner.

Killian started feeding Emma sushi.

Henry made a disgusted face. "If this is how couples are I don't think me and Violet will ever be like that."

Henry imaged Violet feeding him sushi rolls and grabbing a napkin and lightly cleaning his face. Henry couldn't help but smile at that image. Killian and Emma took turns feeding each other and they kept rubbing their noses together.

Emma looked at the shiny ring she had on her left hand that Killian might of given to her...
