I promise

that

I would never hurt anyone-

including myself.

I promise

I would never make someone cry-

but I will keep my tears in silence.

I would never make someone worry over me-

I'd rather sleep in silent pain.

I would never beg them to stay-

and I'll just walk away silently.

I won't ask for love
