Dear self, start today with a smile.
I know you've been stressed lately,
And you wish to live back your lifestyle.
I know you are on the verge of becoming crazy,
But pull yourself together cause you're not yet eighty.
Dear self, raise yourself high.
I know you're not confident,
And you wish to become some other guy.
I know you feel incompetent,
But don't be conscious of the public eye.
Dear self, express your thoughts out loud.
I know you feel scared,
And you wish to be hidden in the crowd.
I know you think you're being snared,
But you are unique, be proud.
Dear self, do what you wanted to do.
I know everyone expects from you,
And you wish to just screw.
I know you just want to escape to Timbuktu
But don't be, you can break through.
Dear self, do your best and keep trying.
I know you want to give up,
And you wish to be hiding.
I know you are about to blowup,
But you just have to pray and keep fighting.
Dear self, do not have regrets.
I know you think 'what if' sometimes,
And you wish to have resets.
I know you want to enjoy the old times,
But then and now are different, more or less.
Dear self, trust yourself and think you're capable.
I know you've experienced failures
And you ask "Why is it impossible?"
I know you have cried because of the pressure,
But remember God and believe that the impossible will truly be possible.
