I dropped my bags, letting the cool wind go through my hair as it flew up like wildfire. Here I was, the school mother sent me too. I couldn't wait to make new friends. I stared at the school amazed in awe. It was so bigger than I imagined. It looked like a mansion, like Cinderella's mansion!

I thought mother would send me to the school of evil crap, whatever it's called. I threw up my arms with a epic smile on my face that reached ear to ear. The wind suddenly stopped and let my hair tumble down.  "Here I am, ready to learn!" I shouted loudly so the whole mansion- I mean school could hear me.

Everyone looked at me with scared faces. Frowns etched on their face so quickly it's as if they were acting. The whole school screamed and yelled as the halls went empty immediately. I cocked my head to the side. What was it?

But a girl with a red hood stayed by her locker. Her hood made me not even see her face. She had a locket in her hand, slowly turning to me as if she just saw me. She gasped, then her eyes turned yellow and she slowly growled.

I backed up and laughed nervously. "Sorry if I bothered you." I said. She nodded and turned to get ready to run, but the wind made her hood fall off showing such tall and sharp ears. Before I knew it, she put the hood back on and ran out.

I raised my eyebrow in both curiosity and confusement. I slowly walked to my room. My chained heels clinked after another.  I opened the door leaving a high pitched creak to echo in the lonely room.

The room was lonely, if a girl my age wasn't sitting in a chair in front of a mirror admiring herself, then yeah it's pretty lonely.

"Um, excuse me? Are you Madeline Hatter?" I asked softly. A girl turned around in the chair surprised.

"No, i'm not, i'm your different roomie! I asked the principal if we could share rooms, and he said yes!" She squealed.

"But arn't you the girl who i'm supposed to poison?" I asked as my eye slowly twitched. She was probably more physco than Madeline. "Yes, Apple White at your service!" She said bowing and fluffing her perfectly combed blonde hair.

I don't get it. She was acting like i'm the one who made her happily ever after be her, well... happily ever after.

"Well, without you, Raven, I wouldn't have my happily ever after if you don't poison me!" She cried. She had a point.

"Okay....... where do I put my things?" I croaked. This wasn't exactly the friend I wanted to have. Or, "roomie" as Apple says it.

"Over here, with all the EVIL things! Evil mirror, evil chair, evil couch, evil bed, evil carpet, evil-"

"What if I don't want to be evil? People judge me by my mother and my looks.." A mournfull look swept across my face and her face fell. "But you NEED to be evil, Raven! If you don't I won't have my happily ever after!" She held my hands and tears started to form into her eyes.

"Listen, I don't know what it's like being the person with a happily ever after, but that doesn't give you the right to tell me what to do!" I shook her hands off mine and stepped back.

"Raven, but you have to-" She whispered before I slammed the door in her face.

This girl did not know what she was talking about, telling me what to do.

I huffed and walked into the halls, speed walking until I slipped on a puddle. I looked down and felt like screaming. I thought this was supposed to be a GOOD school? I looked at the rest of the floor and saw more puddles, almost like a trail. It looked like tea.

Oh, god, I think I just met Madeline.

"HI!" A voice screamed behind me as  I jumped and turned screaming.

"Hi..." I said softly but carefully. This girl is crazy, Raven, speak to her nicely, try not to offend....

I looked at her hand and saw a tea cup there and tea was spilling out of it onto the floor as she tilted her head, looking at me like I was a animal in the zoo.

Oh, brother.
