Ride or Die

It all started in 6th grade. Twelve year old Jaylen was the new kid of Shirak Middle School. Jaylen was heavy set with a chubby face with a light completion with hazel brown eyes. He has just moved to Alabama from Texas. On his first day when he came, he was nervous. He had no friends at all, and people started to tease him because of his weight. Later he went to lunch and sat at a round table all alone, until Sebrena came. Sebrena had a brown skin complexion with clear skin and medium length black curly hair. She had a nice shape and she was popular, and almost every boy had a crush on her. "Hello. You must be the new kid!" , said Sebrena with an expression of excitement. "I'm Sebrena, what is your name?". "Jaylen", he said nervously. Then, Sebrena made her way to the seat across from Jaylen with her lunch tray with a big salad and a water bottle. There was an awkward silence for several minutes until Sebrena said, "So where are you from Jaylen?".
"Houston Texas", he said while opening his juice. "Oh yeah? I'm from Dallas, but I've been to Houston a lot too!!" Said Sebrena. "Have you met any new friends yet?". "No, everyone keeps teasing me for being 'fat'." Said Jaylen, in resentment. Sebrena was speechless for a second searching for a response. Then she looked in his eyes and said, "Don't worry about them, you have me now. We could be friends."
Jaylen was speechless. How could such a pretty girl like a loser like me? He wondered. He later found a response and said, "Okay, cool. Thank you Sebrena." Sebrena shook her head and said, "No problem." She then got her note book and asked Jaylen for a pen, then she tore out a piece of paper and wrote her phone number into the paper. She then handed the torn paper to Jaylen. Then, the bell rang, and she grabbed her tray and her books and rushed to the trash to throw away her food. As she left the table she said, "See you around Jaylen! Call me!". Jaylen suddenly felt better to have a friend. As the 6th grade year flew by, Jaylen and Sebrena became closer and closer, and they became best friends. Jaylen also began to make some new friends, but none of them had the bond of him and Sebrena. Time went by and by the time of 8th grade, Jaylen had looked way different from 6th grade. He became taller and he was no longer heavy set, but a bit muscular with a jawline that appeared. And Sebrena also looked different, becoming curvier and her hair grew longer, and she was flawless. They both Slayed together. One time, in the beginning of the school year, their bond was so tight that people actually thought they were dating. One day, there was this boy who really liked Sebrena and they later ended going out. Three months after they were dating, her boyfriend broke up with her for another girl. Sebrena was very angry and upset. When Jaylen found out, things were not pretty. Jaylen did not like to see his bestfriend so upset, so at lunch, he went up to Sebrena's ex and taught him a little lesson. "You should know better than to mess with Sebrena", said Jaylen. Then Sebrena's ex said "Sebrena was cool and all, but I found me another girl, because she is stupid and she's a thotie and-", and with out another word, Jaylen punched her ex in his face, leaving a bad bruise. Jaylen later got suspended for 3 days, but Jaylen dos not care, because he defended his day one. Time later went forward to high school. Jaylen and Sebrena were still Bestfriends, always talking to each other, hanging out on weekends, spending nights over each other's houses, and even got their parents to become Best friends. In 9th grade, Jaylen was not nervous about starting high school, knowing her had Sebrena by his side. Even without her, he would not be nervous because of her. On the first day of school, Jaylen still had some of the same friends from last year, and he made a lot of new friends on the first week. The girls were all over him. Five of them even gave him their numbers that week. Sebrena also had no issues, she instantly made new friends with not hesitation, and boys were all over her. When Jaylen and Sebrena walked down the hallways, peoples' faces were as if they saw two big celebrates in their school. Together, they were just that flawless. In the middle of the year, Jaylen had a few girlfriends that were either un loyal or had too much drama, and they did not work out. By the end of the year Sebrena would always turn down the guys who asked her out, because of her trust issues with past relationships. By 12th grade in the end of the year, there was prom. Prom was all that Jaylen and Sebrena had been waiting for. Sebrena did not have a prom date, but she was okay with that. On prom day in the morning, Sebrena had a hair and nail appointment. Jaylen left home early and took her to her appointment because he wanted to. He waited for and hour and a half for her, but he did not care, because she was his best friend. When she was done, her hair was covered in curlers. When he dropped her off at home he said, "Who is your prom date?". "No one." She said in a disappointed voice. As she got out the car, he later said, "I'll be here around 3:00." What is this fool up to? She thought. When she got into the house she took a shower, brushed her teeth, took out her curlers, did her makeup and finally put on her prom dress. Her mother had invited some of her family and Jaylen's family as well (Sebrena was not aware). At 3:10 a shiny black limousine pulled up in front of her house. When the door opened, There was Jaylen with a delicate white corsage in his hand. Sebrena's mom went all out and hired professional photographers to take pictures of Sebrena in her big classy home. Everyone was in the kitchen, and Sebrena thought it was only her, her mom and the photographers. When she walked down the stairs, she was surrounded by photographers and her family, and Jaylen's family. She was shocked and surprised. As she walked down everyone was in tears by how flawless she was. By the time Sebrena walked out, Jaylen's eyes widened. Sebrena's makeup was spotless and her hair was perfectly curled. Sebrena's prom dress was long with the bottom puffed out with a pink tint covered in diamonds with small straps with her back out.

Sebrena noticed that Breelynn was not with him. He then walked up to her porch. "You look so beautiful!" He exclaimed, with a big smile on his face with his jaw almost dropping.
"Bestfriend!!! You look sharp yourself!!", She exclaimed. He was wearing a white blazer with a white dress shirt and black pants with a black bow tie and a big diamond gold watch. His perfect hair cut was wavy. He took the corsage out of the plastic case and put it on her wrist. They then got pictures taken together and then left in the limo. On their way, they were listening to all their favorite songs. It was about a 30 minute drive to get to prom. "I have something to ask you, Sebrena." Jaylen said with a big smile. Sebrena looked at him and said, "Wassup bestfriend?" She looked in his hazel eyes and then she noticed he was serious. He said, "I know we have been best friends for a while. You have been down for me since day one. When no one was there you were. You were my first friend when I moved here. I love you." "I love you too, you know that I got you and I know you got me. I remember you punched that dumb ex of mine because he left me for another girl." Said Sebrena. "I have a question. Will you be more than just my best friend? Will you be my girl?" Sebrena was surprised. Her heart was beating in excitement. "I thought you would never ask!" Then his heart dropped. They arrived at prom, and they walked the red carpet and as they walked in, people around were acknowledging them, noticing how well dressed they were and how good they looked. They danced to every fast and slow song. They loved it. When prom was over, Jaylen decided he was gonna sleep at Sebrena's house. They arrived and some people left, but there were still a few people at their house. Later after prom, time went by. Graduation and then collage. They both got into the same collages and were so excited. They both got their separate degrees. Jaylen became a doctor and Sebrena became a judge. They built their future. They were still best friends who happend to get married. They later had a daughter and lived their lives in a huge house.

They were wealthy together, they had their hard times together, they had most good times together, but most of all, they were Ride or dies.
