Too scared to live,
Too scared to die,
Too scared to love,
Too scared to even try?
Monsters don’t sleep under your bed,
They sleep inside your head.
Do you ever feel like people forget:
Forget you exist?
Forget you try?
Won’t notice till you die.
Here’s to ones who broke on the inside,
But seem strong on the outside.
They cry at night,
Smile in the day,
They try to fly like kites,
You don’t understand what they say.
Believe with your eyes,
Not with your ears.
Believe what you see,
Not what you hear.
I’m scared to get close,
And i hate being alone.
I long for that feeling to not feel at all.
Hopefully I won’t fall.
