To find out I'm paralyzed from the back down made me feel sick. The doctors put me in this stupid dumb wheelchair. I have to call my parents, make sure they know I'm okay.

"Hello mom", I said. " hello honey how is summer my mom stated." It was going good until I good into this horrible accident". " are you injured, are u okay, honey omg!," says mom in concern. " yes, it's not a injury that anyone can fix, I sniffle. I'm.. I'm paralyzed from my back down. "Dear God", says my mom. Then she starts to sniffle. I'll be alright school starts in 4 months, I'll make it. "I promise", I stated and cried and hung up the phone.

~4 months passes.~

The start of my last first day as a senior,Things really changed. Freshman through junior year I was walking on my two feet, partying getting drunk. You know just have the time of my life. I ask myself this since the accident. Why did I have to have excessive leg and back problems? Why did I have to go to the doctor? If I didn't have any pain I wouldn't of gotten into a accident, nor would I be paralyzed! I don't know, I guess everything happens for a reason. So I called my parents and asked if they could help me get everything to my dorm because I'm very useless now. I used to joke about being in a wheelchair when I was a kid, I guess it caught up with me in the end. I get to my dorm, get everything situated and organized. All I hear is the accident happening . I tried to get the thought of how I will NEVER walk again out of my head, but yeah you know it will never go away. At least I had a roommate the will take care of me. I better get to sleep to get ready for the morning.

I finally figured out what I'm going to be. A paramedic. Why, you may ask, because I can help people get through what I'm going through now. My first class was medical training, it was going good so far. People were helping me, I actually felt like a normal person for once. I get in to get rolled into my seat, and see this cute guy. All I could think about is that I have no chance, girl just stop right there. Well the crazy Brittany that I am I had to say hi.
"Hi, my name Brittany, what's yours?
"Marcus, nice to meet you Brittany".
We shake hands, he leans in to hug me. You know how bad I wish I could've stood up and hugged him. We start talking for awhile, till class was done. "See you tomorrow," states Marcus". "See ya", I said. I start laughing, that went better than I expected. I can make it through college. I'm a strong educated women. Wait, I'm Brittany Lopez, a strong woman that can't walk and can overcome anything. I smile and roll myself to my next class.

Holy macaroni and cheese did someone actually talk to me, a guy. I'm laughing and crying in joy. I can already feel this Senior year is going to be a good one. It was about 2:35 P.M by the time my classes were done. I go out to lunch with roommate Jessica. "Omg, Jessica I saw cute black person in my class". "Are you serious", stated Jessica. "Yes, could he be the one", I said. "He might, because usually men are to selfish and uncaring to a beautiful smart women in a wheelchair", said Jessica. "Omg I hope he is, I really do. Well I guess I better go lay down, doctors rules, I stated. "See you in the dorm", replied Jessica. 'See ya" I said in laugher. Of course I'm smiling all the way to my dorm.
