that night

John's p.o.v
Dave and I were both in bed.
We were both naked.
and we both cuddled close.

That truth or dare took us far, didn't it!

It was the first time I've seen Dave without his shades, the first time I've seen him sleep matter of fact. He was always strafing with Dirk....

Its nice to see him rest for awhile....

but i think its time to go to sleep....

John goes to sleep still cuddling with the younger Strider....

The next morning, John woke up to see Dave was gone... His clothes and everything... "Did he go home while i was asleep?" say John in his sleepy voice.

He gets up and gets dressed.
He starts walking downstairs, smelling the smell of baking and bacon....
"Dad?" he said, about to cry..

Johns dad has been gone for war. It has been 4 years since he's seen him. A tear starts to fall from his eye. then another then another until he can fill a whole bucket of tears.

"DAD!" he yelled out, running to the kitchen.
"DAD!!!"

Dave's p.o.v

I was baking John pancake and bacon in the kitchen.. Then i turned around and saw John crying... "DAD!!!" John cried out, then fell on the floor.

"John!!" helps his fall.

"i-is that b-betty crocker?" he asked sobbing historically....

"Oh my god! John what.. are you okay?!?!" I asked running to him. "what's wrong?"

"I thought.... you were d-dad..." sobbing "i really miss him.."

"ohh.. John don't cry he is gonna come back!" trying to making him feel better.

"i don't know about that...." stops sobbing is now hiccuping.

"don't say that!" hugs him and kisses him on the lips.

"thanks Dave... i love you!"
"i love you too John! oh! i made you breakfast! you want some?"
"yea! of course!"
"heeh" Dave gets up and services him breakfast.

smiles and blushes "thanks babe" smiles and eats food.

"your welcome baby!"
