There was only one car in front of Jason, the same car that had been in front on Jason the entire time. They were nearing the finish line. He was just far enough for all hope to be lost. The car crossed the finish line, Jason folllwed. Crushed by his defeat.

"You did really good, Jason. You were very close to beating me." Pixie said.

"No, I wasn't. You creamed me this round, just like you have every round," Jay smiled sadly, "your the best at this game, Blondie."

"Well obviously, Todd. She is unbeatable. Now if you would excuse us we have things to do," Damian grabbed Pixie's hand and walked out of the room.

Jason slumped across the couch.

Blair walked pass the room, say depressed Jason, and walked to his side.

"What happened?"

"Nothing."

Blair looked at the game controllers and the disk box for Pixie's favorite racing game.

"Jay, she beats everyone."

"How did you know she beat me?"

"Because Jaybird, you can see your cracked pride. Don't mope over it. I've played this game with Pixie for years and I have never beaten her."

"Will you play with me?"

Blair had every intention of saying no, but she felt that would be like kicking a puppy with three legs.

"Fine. One race." Blair picked up Pixie's discarded controller and sat next to Jason.

They picked their characters, chose their vehicles, and clicked on the "random" button for their race track. The countdown started and the race began.

Jason started off with a small lead in front of Blair. Blair grabbed a weapons box. She got one of the worst weapons, the green shell. Blair carefully moved her car so she was right in behind Jason. She threw the shell and hit Jason, throwing him out of blance.

"Damn it."

"Sorry, not sorry."

Blair passed Jason. Now she was in first. A computer player passed Jay. Now he was in third. The course had a big turn covered in weapon boxes. Jason grabbed one, it was a golden mushroom. As he was driving he pushed "2" repeatedly sending him flying pass the computer player and Blair. There was a huge jump in the course. As Blair jumped she shook the controller which gave her a small burst of speed, which tried her with Jason.

"How did you do that?" He asked.

"It's a trick that Pix taught me."

"Of course it is."

They were nearing the finish line. Still neck and neck. If Blair could pull ahead just a little she would beat Jason.

They crossed the finish line side by side. A perfect tie.

"What is this f*ckury?" Said Jason.

"PIX! YOUR RACING GAME IS BEING A BITCH!" yelled Blair.

Pixie cane up the stairs a moment later.

"The game can't process who won when two people are that close together," Pixie said. Damian came in the room grabbed Pixie and starting pulling her out the door, making sure to glare at Jason ans Blair before he left.

"Awwww, Damian's being possessive of Pixie," Blair said, very loundly. Blair could practically hear Pixie blush and knew it would earn her a Harry Potter book-to-the-face later, but it was worth it.

"It's clear that I won, but just to make sure you know it rematch," Jason said.

"Fine Jay, just don't be mad when I kick your ass."
