The door slowly creaked open. Inside walked a mutant the looked like something straight out of a horror movie. It had pale skin and it's face was warped and distorted. It had the body of a human, but the face of a monster. It was making a putrid noise, like it was choking on something. It slowly shuffled its way towards me. I pushed it away and it fell on it's back. It's leg had broken off and was laying next to mine. I didn't notice it though, my mind was too shocked to figure out what was going on. I grabbed the IV bag stand and smashed his head in. Again and again. I tried to stop but I couldn't. "Fucking... No Good... Piece of Shit." I grunted pounding it's head in. It's green oozy blood ran out of its mutilated skull and onto the once clean floors. By the time I got my self to stop, I was tired, too tired to walk. I hobbled myself over to the door and closed it and locked it. I then hobbled my way back to my bed and laid down. I drifted, closing my eyes and trying to stay awake. I eventually ripped out the IV bags needle that was in my vein. I felt better. I finally had enough strength to get up and go. Slowly, I opened the door. The halls were wrecked, stretchers were on their sides, papers were everywhere. I looked left and right. Nobody was out there. I slowly walked out and onto the stairs. I made my way out onto the streets. I tool a nice deep breath in. The fresh air felt nice. Suddenly, voices arose from the right side. They were laughing and getting closer. I hid behind a pillar. Two men, no older than 20, were walking down the street. One had football pads with spikes, while the other was sporting a North Face jacket. They each had skinny jeans on. One had brownish blackish hair, while the other had dirty blonde. Both of them were armed with an Assault Rifle, and had a small pistol as well. A car alarm went off. They were frightened, pulling their guns to their shoulders immediately. They cautiously walked towards the car that had gone off. A man had been looking for a ride off the many cars in the street, but found near death instead. "Come out and play!" One of them yelled in a sing-song voice."We won't hurt you... much." The other said. I couldn't take it any more. I crouched and got away from the pillar and came out of hiding. "Hands up." One said. I did as he told me. "Who are you?" One asked. "I don't know," I replied casually, "I just got put of the hospital, is there anybody el-" I was cut short by another car alarm going off. "Damn squirrels." The one with the pads said. "You're coming with us." The man in the jacket put my hands together. He then got a ziptie and tied my hands together. "Follow me." He said, and we walked.
