"Minghao, wake up. It's time to start our schedule today. You need to get ready." Seungkwan's voice cut through Minghao's sleep like a knife. Blindly, the Chinese boy moved his hand around in an effort to find his phone. He clicked it on to check the time. "5:00" read the bright clock. Minghao didn't think he would ever be able to get used to this late-to-bed-early-to-rise stuff. He laid in bed for an extra minute or two before forcing himself to sit up and dig around for his clothes.

Getting ready was easy for Minghao. Thank god his stylists took care of his hair for him. All he had to do was shower and get dressed, brush his teeth, grab what he needed, and head to the awaiting van in the car lot down below. Usually, all the members were waiting on Seungkwan who took the longest to become "face ready" as he called it.

"Minghao, would you grab my phone? It's on the counter!" DK called from down the hallway. Out of all the members, he was the most forgetful. Minghao wouldn't put it past him to forget where his own house was.

"Of course, hyung," the exhausted boy opened the door again to find his phone. Just like he said, it was on the counter. Being the last one to walk out the door, he locked it as well.

Finally, their day could actually begin. Their ride was quiet, as it usually is, save for their manager giving them the day's run down. First they were going to the Arirang building to film an episode of After School Club. Everybody enjoyed those. It was never dull or awkward with Eric, Jimin, and Kevin. Plus, they got to interact with their international fans! Usually, ASC wouldn't have pre-debut groups, but S3 was in high demand for their show. After that, it would be around 9 am. They would rush over to the MBC place for an interview and then it might be around 1 or 2 pm. The last item was to go back to their practice room and begin learning more choreography for their upcoming album. The length of practices differed depending on what they were doing.

Minghao hadn't realized that he'd fallen back asleep, but Hoshi was the one who woke him as they pulled up to the building.

"Minghao, wake up. We're at the Arirang building. It's time to get ready by the stylists."

"Oh, okay. Sorry," Minghao replied as he unbuckled and climbed out of the car.

"Don't apologize, man." Hoshi put his arm around his friend's shoulders as the group walked in the door.

Thankfully, the stylists knew what they were doing and created good hairstyles for each of the members.

"Okay! Here we go in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"

"Okay guys! Great episode! Thanks for coming down," Kevin said as he shook each of our hands. He was the most formal one of the three.

After they said their thank yous and goodbyes, it was time for the interview and then back to practice. Thankfully, the interviewer knew what she was doing and didn't ask any embarrassing or awkward questions. One time, a younger lady had told them that their underwear color would tell their future and then asked what color they were each wearing... Talk about awkward. This woman was more mature and professional towards the group. She asked the standard questions such as "how does it feel to finally debut soon" and "when does your song come out".

Practice was of course long and arduous, but nothing that the group couldn't handle. They had all been training for at least over 3 years. Woozi was probably the oldest, both in age and in training years. He had been there for maybe 5 or 6 long years as a trainee. He also was the best at producing the music.

Hoshi was a rapper, along with Minghao, and a dancer. Because there was only 5 of them, they didn't need to have split units or anything, but it was pretty well known that these two were the best at dancing.

Dk, Seungkwan, and Woozi, on the other hand, were the vocals of S3. Minghao would never tell this to them, but out of their voices, he preferred DK's style of singing. It was just so soothing to listen to. He had the deepest range out of the three. Woozi most undoubtedly could sing the highest note, but he couldn't hold it for long. Seungkwan was in charge of adlibs and holding high notes.

During his training years, Minghao was told that there was always room for improvement, which was true. Even now, he always felt like there was always something that he could do a little bit better. Sometimes when he would be feeling a little bit down, the members would ask if he wanted to go get some Chinese food. Of course, it didn't taste exactly like his mother's home cooking, but it was close enough and Minghao was grateful that they would even think of that.

Being the only Chinese member had its perks though. For example, they're schedule said that they would be going to China to promote for awhile which meant that Minghao would be the representative for S3. It also meant that he would be able to tell them what good food there is to eat.

As their "day" came to a close, because it was really 3 a.m, the group headed down to their living floor. They were sweaty, they were tired, but they were happy. Seungkwan and Minghao headed to their shared room, while Woozi and DK stayed out to talk for awhile and Hoshi went off to shower.

"Goodnight, Minghao!" Seungkwan said just before he shut off the light. "Sleep well."

"Goodnight, Boo."
