Chapter 1
The crowd cheered at our victory, the team ran towards the stand and began joining in with the crowd. Yet again, The Western Demons has defeated another school. I, as a responsible captain, went over and shook the hand of the other captain. It was a fun and an easy win with 30-6. After I was done, I took off my helmet and joined my teams. The guys decided they wanted a party after the tiring game. What could I say, I love parties!
After a short clean up, I excused myself from the guys, only to find the blonde captain of the cheerleading squat leaning against my car.
"Hey babe" She was pretty much running towards me when she spotted me.
"Um, hey Amy" I forgot her name.
"It's Emma" She crossed her arms and exclaimed loudly, "We've slept together for a few times already and you still don't remember my name?"
I sighed and pushed pass her.
"Don't walk away from me!" She shouted; I turned around and look at her face which has a smirk plastered on it.
"Let's get things straight here, I don't take orders nor will I listen to sluts like you. You're not my girlfriend so you have no right to tell me what to do, if you don't remember, I don't do dates. Goodbye Amy, I'm exhausted" I turned around and continued to walk to my BMW.
"It's Emma! And this is not over! We're not over until I say so!" I heard her shouted but chose to ignore it. Girls like that are so annoying.
/At the party/
I walked into the house of blasting music. It was crowded and I was greeted with cheers as I made my way to the kitchen.
"Hey man, that 60 yard was awesome!" Luke slapped my back. Luke was also on the team, he's only the kicker because he also plays basketball; he tried to avoid injuries at cost. Oh, and he's the host of the party.
"Yeah," I raised my glass and began gulping down alcohol. Luke on the other hand, seemed to be in a worse condition than I was. He was already drunk and he showed no sign of stopping.
"Dude, I think you've had enough," I tried to take the glass away from him.
"NO!" He whined like a little kid. I snatched the glass away from him and helped him upstairs to his room. I dropped him on the bed and I sat down on his chair.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" I leaned back onto his chair and crossed my arms.
"My half sister is moving in with me," Luke mumbled. I remembered Luke telling me his mum left him when he was young for another man. She was then pregnant with him and decided to never come back again. A few days ago, he got some phone call saying his mum and her husband past away in a car crash. And now he has to look after his half sister who he doesn't know.
"When is she coming?"
"In a few days," He sat up and looked down to the floor, "I don't know anything about her dude! What if she doesn't like me? And what if I don't like her?"
"It can't be that bad, she's a girl. Handle her like how you would handle a girl. It can't be that hard" I shrugged. Luke looked up at me and slowly nodded his head.
