Luke hasn't said a thing about about his sister. And I haven't had the time to visit and welcome her. Luke missed training 2 days now and Coach was furious.
"Anderson" Coached called to me, motioning his hand for me off the field.
"Yeah Coach?" I panted as I stopped in front of him.
"Seen Luke around?" Coach folded his arm.
"No sir"
"Has he contract?"
"No Sir"
"Get his arse here by tomorrow before I kick him out of the team got it?" Coach's voice was firm, "Now get back on that field!"
"Yes sir" I turned around and raced around the lap.
/After Practise/
I was huffing by the time I was done doing the 10 laps. Tristan came behind me and slapped me on the back. I ignored him and quickly paced into the changing room. I changed out of my clothes and grabbed a towel. I headed to the shower and did my business. I walked back to my locker and opened it, not realising Tristan had sneaked up behind me and shoved me playfully into the locker.
"Have you heard from Luke bro?" I shoved Tristan off my back, "I heard his little sister was coming to stay? Do you think she's hot?"
"Dude...shut up. Can you go one day without thinking about girls?"
"Nate my man, we won't be young forever!"
"Whatever" I slung the backpack over my back and took out my key, "I'm going to pay Luke a visit"
"I'm coming to!" He skipped childishly ahead of me.
We came to a halt in front of Luke's house. When we got out of my BMW, we could hear music blasting from inside the house. I noticed that Luke's truck was still present, thus he must be home. I knocked on the door twice and there were no answers. Tristan and I gave each other a look and shrugged before we began banging on the door like maniacs.
"WHAT?!" Luke yanked the door open slightly and I could only make out half of his face.
"Oi! Why didn't you invite us if you're having a party man?!" Tristan began shouting at him. Tristan loves party and there hasn't been any party where he wasn't invited.
"Dude, cut me some slack man, I'm...busy right now. I know coach probably sent you guys down here to warn me but I really have no time for that right now. I kind of...have to...handle my sister...she's...um...out of control..." Luke sounded scared and that was odd, "I'll definitely be in tomorrow so I'll sort thing out with coach when I get there. See ya" Before I could bid my farewell, he slammed the door at our face.
"Well that went well..." Tristan shrugged and we began to walk back to the car. Only to be stopped by a glass breaking sound from inside the house.
"I wonder what kind of problem he's going through right now?" I asked Tristan.
"Maybe his sister is some psycho?" Tristan raised an eyebrow.
"Don't be stupid!" I smacked his head, "I'm sure they would send her to the mental hospital you idiot!"
"Just saying, maybe she's on the loose or something man, anything could happen"
"This is why those freakin' geeks think we're dumb!" I sighed and kept walking to the car.
/The next day/
"Hey, my friends' calls me Nate, but you can call me tonight" I winked at the semi-hot blonde chick in front of me. I was leaning on her table and she was looking up at me.
"Yeah I know you" She said sweetly, which made me mentally cringe because of how high pitched her voice was, "Here's my number" She began scribbling numbers onto a piece of paper and seductively tucked it into my jean pocket.
"ANDERSON!!" I heard Coach's voice from the classroom's entrance.
"Yes Sir!" Instinctively, I turned to face Coach and straightened my back. I ran towards him and stiffened, readying myself for a yelling.
"Miller here yet?"
"No sir, Luke isn't here yet, but he said he'd be here soon sir!"
"Tell him to meet me in the office straight away got it?"
"Aye sir" Coach turned around and began walking a few steps before stopping again.
"And stop that stupid flirting Anderson! It ain't do you any good! Tone down the god damn pick up lines before I puke!"
"Y-yes sir!" I shouted after him. I let out a sigh and slouched my back.
"Pfft. Stupid jocks, that's all you ever think about - playing stupid balls and sex" A girl sneered at me and I glared at her.
"What? Was I wrong?" She asked again. Oh this bitch was asking for it!
"Atleast I can get girls. Look at yourself in the mirror freshman - what's with the thick granny glasses for? You can't be that blind can you? And look at your clothes; dressed like a goth I see. Bet you can't even get a boyfriend. Don't compare yourself to me NERD" I grinned at her.
"Ha, really? Well sorry princess; despite that I don't even remember comparing myself to anybody. But I see your ego is high as the sky- just make sure not to trip over it" She adjusted her glasses on her small nose, "Well I don't blame you entirely for being retarded, since your brain's made up of muscles instead of nerves, thus the reason why you don't think of anything productive" I heard my friends cracked into laughters behind me and some people in the hallway stopped and stare. I closed the distance between us and leaned down towards her.
"Arrogant nerds like you don't last long here" I warned her.
"Sure princess, I'll remember that. But you should worry about triping over your ego instead" She shoved me backwards and gave me the finger before pushing past the crowds. I walked back into class and my pals were still laughing their arse off.
"Shut up!" I shouted at them before I roughly settled down in my chair. My friends were still laughing and showed no sign of shutting up. Adding to that, they began reenacting the scene. I grunted in annoyance before setting my eyes outside the window.
"Jesus!" Someone shouted from the entrance. I turned around and saw Luke racing towards our group. He was panting like he hasn't stopped running for 5 hours. I ignored him and looked back outside the window.
"What's got in HIS pants?" I heard Luke asked the other guys and they eruptedly started to laugh again.
"A freshman girl has hurt his MANLY ego" Jay chuckled.
"Yeah, you should've been here man! It was hilarious!" Trent laughed and everyone else joined in. I ignored those runts and turned to the confused looking Luke.
"Coach wanna see you" I said to him.
"Okay thanks man, tell the teacher I'mma go see Coach okay?" He slung his backpack behind his back again before racing out of class.
