Chapter5: The church

Melody's POV

We entered the silent and creepy town. There was absolutely no sign of life...

We checked out every house, but there were no humans, no corpses or any sign of Akuma attack.

"Tch... there's no one here!" The nagger of team started nagging!

"But there must be someone!" The white clown jumped in the middle of the show.

"You see that there's no one bean sprout. we came all the way for nothing!"

"IT'S ALLEN!"

"SHUT UP!" I stopped watching the annoying show and interrupted them. As their whole attension was on me I could speak now. "Thanks. now, check there." I pointed at the End of the town where a slight light was shining.

"Woah! She's right! check that Kanda!" The white clown uttered.

Pretty boy narrowed his eyes to see what we had seen.

"You actually saw that?!" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I've got strong eyes."

"Let's go!" And with the Pretty boy's command, we took the way to where there light was coming from.

"It's a church!" Allen shouted running towards the church.

He hesitated to open the doors.

"What's that bean sprout? Open that door already!" Kanda yelled behind me. Allen turned to us, but he wasn't normal... His left eye had tyrned red with something round... The hell was that?!

"We can't yet. There are Akuma in there." He said pointing at the church.

"How do you know?"

"My left eye can see the souls of the Akuma, and I can see a few inside."

Kanda walked to the door taking his sword out "It doesn't matter. Out of the way Bean sprout!" And he activated his innocence.

Allen tried to stop kanda but he failed and Kanda bumped in like a freak jumping in the middle of a party.

Everyone started running away seeing a crazy freak with a sword... except for a few....

"They're all Akuma Kanda!" Allen yelled. Well done pretty boy....

With Allen's warning all the people in there turned to their true selves, Akuma!

Kanda began to attack but...

something, someone, crashed on him like a meteor!

As the dust around him- caused by the level4 above him!- came down the other Akuma began attacking us.

Each of us started jumping like little rabbits trying to run away from a rain of fire!

As the Akuma kept attacking outside the church, we avoided their attacks destroying them at the same time, when we heard a loud breaking sound from inside the church...

"Hey! Can you handle these Akuma for a while?"

"Don't worry, Go help Kanda!"

I jumped into the church immediately to see Kanda fighting the level four with all his strengh... Wow! You're pretty strong, aren't you?!

I made out my arrows and attacked the level four, but not only he avoided them but the couldn't even make a scratch on him!

I made any wepon that I knew using attacking the Akuma along with the swordsman, but it was of no use-at least for me!

Finally the Akuma made his move and attacked the both of us with an explosion of energy.

As I hit the wall with my left arm, feeling it getting destroyed, Pretty boy hit the glasses on the other side. I stood up trying to help him but the Akuma moved faster throughing another explosion to me.

I made a shield out of my innocence trying my best to avoide it, but it was too strong...

As a result I ended up hitting the wall once more, harder than before.

I couldn't move, the pain was too much not letting me to feel my body...

I heared a dreadful giggle upon me... The Level four was there... looking at me with a devil smile and giving me all the chills...

He raised his hand laughing aloud "This is the end for you!!"

Are you serious...?!

No...

Is this... where I... die...?!
