Elliot's P.O.V
Captain took me outside the room. I couldn't stand being away from her whilst she's in this state.
"Look, Elliot." The captain began. "If your going to be here, you have to stay. You can't just leave again, it hit her really hard last time."
"I won't. I promise." I knew there'd be doubts but I had to prove that I would stand by her.
"She's got a foster daughter now and I got a text from Cassidy saying that he's going to be coming up from Jersey tomorrow."
I looked at the captain. "Okay, I know about Ali but what does Cassidy have to do with this?"
"They recently broke up but he still has feelings for her. I think he's going to try and win her over. Anyway how's Cathy and the kids?"
I just shrugged. "Their okay."
"Elliot, what's happened?" The captain persisted.
I sighed. "Cathy left me and took the kids with her. They currently live in Italy with her new husband."
Cragen looked at me then the floor. "Well I'm sorry. Look if you ever need to talk-"
"I know thanks. I should really get back to Liv now." I smiled and walked back into the room and over to Olivia's bedside. I ask her about Ali and the conversation goes on from there...
