Do You Know Me?

I walk the halls of noise in eternal silence,

I push the limits of impossibility.

I touch the stars before their light can reach the earth,

While the roots of ancient trees hold my feet

I carve the way forward through swathes of insects

Those who crawl on their knees and beg.

I walk the miles through inches of blood,

And nary a drop touches my leg.

No one may dare enter my room filled with tricks,

No one but I, you see.

If anyone were to touch the wonders inside,

They should be struck with a frightful disease.

And who cares about law when you are as free as a wild beast,

With wings greater than any,

And oh, what a sin, what a joy to be me,

I am envied by many.
